I have a ton of legendary items that are less than impressive, what do you do with yours?
 
Salvage em, brimstones have been going up lately and one day maybe crafting will get to the point of being useable
 
none of the above. i drop them on ground, too lazy to go to vendor for each bot.
 
Probably depends on how much you value your time. I usually have something like 10 junky legendaries after a 24 hour run. If I vendor them with the rest of the garbage, it's probably like 30 or 40k gold. If I take the time to salvage, it's 350k gold right now. That's like... 7 cents. So, it just depends on whether you consider those pennies worth the extra carpal tunnel syndrome to walk over to the anvil and salvage them.
 
I dont know if I am extremely late to the game on this or what, but I recently discovered (totes obv's revelation incoming) you can use the 'Enter' key to click the are you sure button when breaking down legendaries... which is a big time saver.
 
I just salvaged all of the crap, 3 mules loaded plus stash bags just on 1 account. Currently sitting at ah price 7.4mill worth of brimstones
 
brimstones are worth 50k gold US softcore, i just gather up a whole stash of <1000000 legendaries, and de them and put them all up @ 50k, ends up being a free 10 million every now and then
 
No option for people who give them to a random person in trade chat? I haven't with my bot, but on my main account with my barb I did once. Brimstones were like 5k at that time, and I had like 20 random legendaries. Just offered to first person to speak up in trade chat, and gave them to some guy who was like paragon 4 and had maybe 500k in gear. If he really wanted to spend the time to squeek out all the cash he could on them, could have made a few mil maybe.
 
As long as you have the time (1 minute a day or so) the correct answer is salvage them. Brimstones are definitely going to go up when new crafting is announced as everyone will want to try their hand at crafting (regardless if they are going to be useful or still crap). When a Blue post appeared saying that changes to crafting will be made, they went from 10k to 60k INSTANTLY. Just keep them on a safe acct and dump them the day new crafting is released
 
I used to save them unid and troll my friends when ppl still played.
 
salvage em, 180 brimstones so far after 1 week :S, its kinda sad to look at em cause thats 180 crapy legendaries :s

I actually do this too, but to people I know. Got a lot of friends from real life that play and so I always hook them up with whatever I don't use or isn't worth boatloads
