Is it possible to bot and play another game on same PC?

fullscreen or fullscreen windowed... seems like there is a difference for the bot ><

edit: yeah I just did fullscreen WC3 and the bot shut itself down cause it thought it was frozen and after 30 seconds of having it up when I alt tab he is in the same spot, so I 100% confirm that playing fullscreen with D3 in windowed mode doesn't work, so I am going to assume those of you saying "oh yeah you can do it" are using fullscreen windowed or some kid of modification that helps the bot communicate with the D3 window.

RTS style games don't work so well on windowed mode due to map scrolling and if the mouse goes of the window in the slightest it will basically stop scrolling, so windowed and RTS aren't very compatible. I did however try your solution and got a program that will do this, so I will give it a try and see if there are any other solutions in the mean time.

Windowed (fullscreen) in most games in indistinguishable from fullscreen save for faster alt-tabbing. Scrolling, etc. is unaffected.
 
really it depends on the game, some of them when full screen stop other games. such as Diablo 3 or WoW From Rendering and that will stop your bot from working. in all cases if the game supports windowed mode it should work just fine.
 
Also RAM seems to be really helpful. I have 2 bots running and notice that my physical memory is always cap especially when I browse the web/watch movies. I'll update in a few days once I add another bot and I have 8gb DDR 3 ram coming in

GTX 460 756mb, i7 2600 3.4ghz, 6gb DDR 3 ram
 
wow 137 processes i only have 86 running currently, and i think i have too many running.

You you can vastly improve that. I have on average 40-50 processes running even while running several programs.

Set your startup to not run any programs on startup (except ones you need, an antivirus if you use one, etc.). Your memory use should plummet.

yea i got a lot of stuff running, plus i never shutdown, just hibernate and move.

I know you're just messin around, but that got me thinking.. Got my first in 1980, man i didn't feel old till i read that.
 
3770k with 7970 ran me 6 bots plus I could fullscreen battlefield 3 at the same time :)
 
I re-open this 3d. Could it be considered "dangerous" using a program like Chaos Launcher for Starcraft? I wanna play again SC in sigle player, but without addictional % of being banned :)
 
I get some direct x error when I try to run Black Ops 2 and D3 at the same time. Any ideas guys? No big deal though, use it as a break for my bots
