HB Issue - Very long load time.

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Here is a thread I found that is recent with exact same issue, also using windows 8. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/support-issues/86861-also-stuck-logging.html.

Could you please just quicky tell me where abouts I can find the framework 4/Microsoft .net stuff on my PC to remove. I think I remove the right files, but I would to double check :).

You find them in add/remove programs in your control panel.

I removed microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable and redid wizard. Still no fix.

No microsoft .net framework 4 client profile/microsoft .net framework 4 extended came up on add/remove programs, although I removed 2 files with the same name out of my PC.

After looking around, I am having issues with the Microsoft .net stuff. Its corrupted for sure, but even after I have got rid of all the files it wont let me reinstall, saying it is already part of the OS. Clean up tool is not working either. Any suggestions?

I could be highly retarded and am missing something, but as I have just got mop and time for my botting account, it would be nice to start using it :o

Ice Skating :P been playing hockey for 14 years

Just go to a Free Skate, and then give it a try!

Haha, Where I am from hardly anyone ice skates :(. Only did it once and failed horribly.

I did a clean reinstall of win8, took awhile, but it did fix the issue :).

I believe the issue was that my .net framework was corrupt, and as its part of the windows 8 OS, I had huge issues trying to clean it out and reinstall. Seemed like the only fix was a clean rebuild :(.

But yeah, if your getting the same issue, try see if you can reinstall .net framework from scratch :), as that seemed to be the issue.

Thanks for support devs :), much appreciated.
