Hello there,

I'm not even this is the rite forum to be posting in, and I'm sure if its not a nice Modorator will move this thread and point me in the rite direction.

I've recently started building my own profiles, and when there done and I'm happy they work better than I wanted them too, I am going to post them.

So I did a profile, wrote it and ran it over two nights when I was in bed. It worked and got me to Exalted with Sporeggar, I thought Fantastic, doesn't get stuck, loots what I want it to and all is well.

I posted this profile as my first in a aid to help others. However I got a reply by some one that downloaded the profile saying "Does not attack the mobs" So I sat down and ran the file again for myself, and sure enough the bot is only ever attacking mobs that attack it first.

I would put it down to that they are engaged with the Sporeggar in the cave but even those sitting alone do not get attacked.

I've checked what I thought would be wrong

<SubProfile>
<Name>Sporeggar Reputation</Name>
<MinLevel>60</MinLevel>
<MaxLevel>85</MaxLevel>
<Factions>1706</Factions>
<Factions>1693</Factions>
<TargetMinLevel>58</TargetMinLevel>
<TargetMaxLevel>70</TargetMaxLevel>

Anyone that could help me out? I would not like to be seen to be making non-working profiles.

Thank you for your help.

I dont know if this is whats causing this, but put your factions like this:

<Factions>1706 1693 xxxx xxxx</Factions>
instead of in more lines

I removed fraction 1693 altogether so it now just reads with 1706, still have the same problem.

Thanks for trying Nuggat

Of course,

I have uploaded the profile, and just did one run around the grind area, so that is the most up to date log.

Default CC used.

Thanks for this Nuggat.

and from what i can see in the log, it pulled mobs at start and then it would just wait for them to attack you

It pulled the first mob no problem, Even cast Avenging Wrath...., then nothing, just runs through a mob and waits for it to attack.

The profile has a "few" hotspots I know, but I use these to navigate the cave's high and low areas, as well as areas clogged with plants I may get stuck on. The guide said 3 to 5 minimum, no one ever mentioned a maximum number of them? :(

well from what i can see it looks right, you sure its the right faction? oh and you can easily change the <MinDurability>0.5</MinDurability> to 0.2

Yeah I even re-checked the fraction when I got the original request about the profile not attacking, and again tonight before I posted this thread.

0.5 its my first profile, was just following the guide :P

I'll switch that once I get this other problem sorted.

Just driving me insane :(

well i dont know then buddy:/

Thanks for trying mate, at least I can sort out the fractions and repair level. Will help with my future profiles. :-)

On that note, anyone else got anything, would love to hear it.

Still looking for answers if anyone else has any ideas?

<This post is a cleverly disguised BUMP>

First things first you should double check the factions ID, make sure it is the factions ID you input and not mob ID.

Secondly you have so many blackspots which are all very close to some of your hotspots, as a test drop the blackspots list entirely and attempt to run it without.

Thirdly, visit the Custom Class section and grab Convalesce by Mordd. It requires a bit more interaction (setting up spells to use) but it is, in my opinion, far better than default.

Can't believe removing the hot spots solved the problem. I added them in a effort to make sure the bot did not fall off and get mixed up between hot spots, or going to loot a mob at the edge of a cliff.

However after a good few hours run through. the bot farms the rep at top speed on the paladin and rogue.

Thank you Synik. +Rep.
