How do you dual box your bots? [RESOLVED]

I want to run 4 bots on 1 machine. is this possible?

And currently I have 1 bot, can I dial box my main?

Alright I did some forum searching and finally found a post talking about this.

I couldnt find it before and I am sorry for making a post when there was already one going.

I deleted my agent file and edited multiboxing true'

I have main and bot on but main (can do ah just fine) but when he joins game it freezes and he never goes in.

Anyone know how to remedy this?

UPDATE: It goes to loading screen of character going into the game and is froze there now.

I have a feeling if I do get in... its going to be one laggy mother. And my machine is well equipped to handle several boxes. *scratches head*

UPDATE: It finally took me back to char selection screen and said unable to join game. :(

copy ur d3 folder to other place like c: d: w/e,then make a shortcut of diabloiii.exe and type to target -launch (c:blabla/diabloiii.exe -launch) start ur 2x d3 with different folders and multiboxing true fixs this!
 
This will enable my main to go into a game?

I did all of the steps you listed and now the second game wont load. it starts to then poof dissapears.
 
I am still only able to get auction house up on main.

the new -launch shortcut does not work.

I get my main in by launching the regular diablo button with agent folder deleted, however he can only use AH.

Would love to get some helpful information on how to dualbox as I have purchased a 3 session lifetime key.
 
UPDATE: Ok The Above Advice That Zelo Gave WORKS.

I was copying the new diablo file to Program Files and had the original in Program Files x86

This was registering as the same place. Once I moved the second diablo onto the c drive it worked perfectly. currently dual boxing.

Hi, could you post a step by step of how you got this going?
Did you have to install VMWare? Did you need a valid license?
I got like 3 D3 keys and i'm only using one cuz i have no idea how ito make it work.

Ok All you have to do is copy your C:/Program Files/Diablo III File to your C:/ Drive.

If your diablo folder isnt in program files thats fine. The important thing is to copy it and paste it in the C drive folder itself so you have a second diablo III folder that should read C:/Diablo III or something very similar.

Now you have 2 seperate games in 2 seperate locations. For me that is ALL that it took. I can use the same diablo executable to launch both.

It recognizes a diablo is running from 1 and launches the new diablo from the second.

Works perfectly like a charm.

Let me know if this works for you.

If you want to run all 3 you will probably have to copy a third to a new folder in C that isnt where the original one is.
 
You will most likely also have to edit your Agent.db file in your diablo folder with notepad and change supports multibox false to supports multibox true then save.

then show hidden folders in c drive and delete the agent folder from the battle.net folder. There is a post here that is more specific on that.

let me know if you need that as well and I will look it up and post the link here.

UPDATE: I did everything listed above BEFORE I did any diablo copying. If you havent done this already I suggest doing it FIRST. Let me know.
