Looking for some advice on improving my monk

Hey,

I am looking for some advice on what to improve on my monk, If anyone has any spare time that they could help me with I'll drop a PM to you with my armory.

It's at a level I am semi happy with, it doesn't die and most things get 2/3 shotted except elites so I think it needs just a little bit of optimising :)

Monks are awesome when used right. You will probably want to initially stack one certain resistance plus all resistance to use with "one-with-everything". If you can afford the gear, you can also basically go pure dex with enough life to survive. You will want 2400+ dex with 30+ crit chance and 200+ crit damage. Use a skorn for really high dps and use echoing fury with another 1 hander if you want to farm with more speed or proc abilities. I don't have any bonus xp other than plus 27% on my helm socket, but I can get 20-23 million xp an hour. You will probably only want to loot i63+ or just legendaries. Set the gold pile amount on the Trinity plugin to over 300 for additional speed.

You can basically go pure defense skills and gear to endure higher monster levels to farm the keys/rings. A lot of spirit generators will work, but I like the ones that have some sort of AOE. Using the passive "fleet footed" along with tempest rush and "hundred fists" will allow you to farm really fast. You start at 35 move speed and then add 25 then another 15 and it gets pretty fast. Breath of heaven and blinding flash will give you better dps, and use the dodge mantra unless you are stacking resistance (then use the +20% resistance skill).

With the right setup you can farm a hellfire ring and get about 30 mil xp/hr with the right profiles. The dps can range from 60k-300k+ depending on your gear.

With a glass build w/o resistance, you need armor, dodge mantra, resolve passive, and other life savers like "serenity" and "near death".

I'd be interested in your guide as well to compare what I'm doing. I can one shot everything in Act 4 on inferno(0), and elites usually go down with one 7-sided strike.
