Copied katsu88's build but i can't find his psu and casing, can someone tell me what else i can use? Also his build doesn't have a aftermarket cooling system for his cpu, i'd imagine i'd have to over clock the cpu right? What cooling fan should i buy for it? What do you guys think of this? Oh and i'm buying my parts from newegg.

processor + Mobo: I7 3770k + Asus Z77 extreme 4 = 329.99+397.99
SSD:crucial m4 128GB= 99.99
GPU:Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 OC 3GB = 329.99
RAM: Whats a good 32 gb ram set?
PSU: was going to use a Seasonic X 660W Gold but newegg doesn't have
Casing: Was going to use a Sharkoon T28 but newegg doesn't have!

edit: i'm going to use a g skill ripjaws x series 32 gh = 163.49

you dont need so much ram

Thereis no big choice with 8Gbx4 memory choose any
what other gpu do you recommend? Also yeah its alot of money and its gonna put me in the hole but hopefully i can recoop my losses in a month. Also should i buy a after market cooling fan?

Here is how you save money:
1/ Get the cheap motherboard that have right socket for your CPU : around 150$.
2/ There is several 32 gb ram that cost less than 150 $, search and get it.
3/ Get either 750 - 850 Power supply, prefer gold edition one . It helps stable your computer if you are going to Overclock your CPU
4/ 2gb vram video card is enough for 18 D3 windows so buying 3gb version just for 12 is wasting your $$

thanks, you saved me alot of money ha. I'll buy a cheaper mobo and a 2gh vram, oh and thanks for the power supply reccomendation, i didn't know what to get in that department

The asrock extreme4(140u$) is already the cheapest and weakest board to use along with oc on this proc... w/o losing too much stuff for the deal.

I personally would reco either an asrock oc. performance(240u$), gigabity ud5(280u$) or asus rampage v formula(280u$). (Other mothers won't reach 5ghz+...).

Also this proc heats like no other... so water cooler is a must when u going to oc it (either corsair h80 or h100 or similar will solve). On air it wont pass 4.2ghz.

Only go for cheap ddr3 if u not willing to oc... otherwise take some ripjaws x /2133 or /2400... or u will have some(alot) of memory errors.

You can "save" 50 bucks for having the biggest headache of your life for the next months... or just get a decent deal and get the worth stuff.

And a 650psu is already an over for this system 600w would handle easy. (350 max of vga(will never reach it) + 150 max of proc on oc then hds memory etc won't excess 100w).

you only need 1gb vram for 12 bots. your gpu should be $200 or less for that. mobo should also be less than $200. 128gb ssd is not big enough to hold 12 D3 folders and a Win7 installation, unless you plan on using isboxer. if you don't use isboxer, you will absolutely need a bigger drive. ripjaws good, i would stick with ripjaws.

Okay guys this is my build so far:

cpu- i7 3770k=329.99
ram- 32gb ram (gskill rippjaws x series)=148.99
mobo- ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard =179.99
ssd- Intel 330 Series Maple Crest SSDSC2CT180A3K5 2.5" 180GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (i'm planning to use isboxer) =149.99
psu- OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular High Performance Power Supply compatible with Intel Sandybridge Core i3 i5 i7 and AMD Phenom=80
I'm still having trouble with the video card, some say 1gb and others say 2gb? also what case do i buy? I'm buying from newegg. Also thanks guys, i know these threads are a eye sore but i'm dealing with a grand here and im just winging it

oh yeah dumb question, but will all the wires to hook everything together come with the parts i buy?

bought computer, 1900 total, thanks guys for all your help, especually arielmz

Show pics! :P

By the way, you say you get the investment back in 1 month but how about 12 cdkeys (360? minimum if you got them for 30? on amazon.de) plus db sessions.

Pray to not get banned, at least you will have a nice pc

k i'll be sure to post pics when i build it, as for running 12 bots, that may take a week to set up and get all of them running. yeah figured that all in, everything will be under 3k (keys and my first 12 diablos), i hope i don't get banned as i'll be botting 24/7, all on the same ip

So what was the end system?
Btw u can look for 18 bots. :P

If u wanna do some block oc when it arrives, to get to the 5ghz+.
If u look closer hes running at x50 multiplier. not sure how the water gonna handle 5.5ghz+. U might need to place 2 extra fans on the h100.

actually checked and its been voided, i guess my cc didn't match up with info, now they said they won't release my funds till 3-5 business days, which is 100% bullshit, thats why i ordered with a visa so i didn't have to wait till that shitty ass company paypal to add funds, and the reason why i ordered express shipping. Fucking assholes man lol, ahh i'm so pissed why the fuck are they so quick to take my money yet take a shit load of time to return, motherfuckers! okay i'm done ranting lol

Look at the bright side, you can still do adjustments to your build if you feel you need it.

He won't be able to overclock to 5.o ghz with H100 . The reason is the more ram the system has, its harder to overclock the processor and make it stable.

Back to OP:

If you paid 1900 $ for that system, you actually over pay it. From my experience , I never buy motherboard from online retailer as it is one of component that easily to get defective. You don't want to RMA the board and wait a week for replacement.

I think 12 bots in isboxer is too easy with your PC
12 bots in VMWare is different
