I need each one of my instances to have a renamed .exe for some stuff I'm testing.

But when I launch DemonBuddy, it will not detect D3 I guess because of renaming the process - is there a work-around for this? It is pretty important.

Thanks.

it shouldn't make a difference what you name it, although just so you know, renaming it wont give any added benefit in terms of security or hiding it from warden.
post a full log as an attachment and we can see whats going on.

The log says nothing since the bot won't even start, it simply states that I need to have D3 running.

Try for yourself, if you rename Diablo.exe in the D3 folder then run D3 it will not attach itself to the process (which is now named to whatever you changed it to as seen in the processes)

I use a ***** program that relies on process name to assign certain proxies to each D3 instance, and if they are all named the same then I cannot assign a separate IP for each instance.

theres no way around renaming the D3.exe, it has to be that way, i thought you where talking about Demonbuddy.exe you can rename demonbuddy.exe to whatever you want, but not the diablo 3 executible.

one thing you might wanna think about is running multiple VM's so you can keep them isolated. rather then guessing what one is what.

you shouldnt and there is no need to rename D3 exe

Running in vms is a huge waste of resources, and I don't know of a better ***** program than what I've got now to auto connect proxies (different ***** for each instance).

Any recommendations? The thing I like about my ***** program is you assign an IP on any instance so if you have an auto launcher program for crashes no need to worry about it being under a ***** or not proxifier takes care of it.

my suggestion was to run a VM, if there was some other way i would let you know.

If you have multiple D3 folders, you can distinguish them by path.

With what program? I tried looking for this option and could not find it on proxifier.
