The difference is Blizzard announce when they will have maintenance.
Here in the middle of a raid/dungeon/arena or whatever it just stop working.
If you know there will be maintenance for an hour or so maybe you would do dailies of something instead of joining a raid.

Honorbuddy cost money and then you want a product that works as it should.
Of curse there will be a few bugs and other things but this auth problem starting to annoy most people now.
Ill guess its just there as an protection so that people cant use it if they didn't bought it.
Should i as a paying user suffer from that?
 
there is no we are on it. mentioned often before. sunday=free day for devs. no matter how big the problems are.
 
Heavy sigh. Well, I'm gonna go outside, enjoy the weather, and stop adding myself to the auth server load for a while, hopefully one fewer person spamming it trying to log on will help. :P

Perfectly stated. People defend this product as if it's free. We paid for it, we want it to work. It absolutely doesn't. At least give us a statement saying you know about it, you are fixing it, how much longer you expect it to be down... something???

sunday=free lol:) then have a backup server when one falls down other takes it over it not that hard
 
I really dont understand that fanboys who defend honorbuddy atm its like getting fucked by your own money and enjoying. You guys are like SHEEPS.
 
Is this a common thing every Fri/Sat/Sun? Authentication failures + lack of Mod responses?

Anyone know ETA on a fix?

yes unfortunately, since last expansion problems have been persistent, best you can hope for is 60-70% up time and even when up there are many problems
 
it's pretty cool that some ppl didnt pay for the bot and run it on a local server, but we, who have the official release for which we paid, can't use it.
 
Yeah, devs go to the cinema on sunday cause they want to see some moving pictures. Their homescreen is just frozen with an "authentication failed" statement of their buddies.
 
Works for me, had the problem 10min ago. seems fixed (for me atleast).
