Hey,

Im about to sell gold on the RMAH for the first time. does blizz takes 15% for the sell and another 15% if i choose to transfer to paypal? If so, that would be around 30% cut. Isnt better to spend gold on items i could sell for $250 instead of selling the gold itself?

I have avoided the item market kinda lately. too much good shit already inflated.

It?s pretty difficult, esp. for items on RMAH in the EU. You need a really really high level TOP Item to get a good price. I?d rather pay the fee and blizz is happy too ;)

is the fee around 30%? 15% for the sell and another 15% if i choose to transfer to paypal?

for gold yeah... for items its $1 + 15% so anything less than $3.37 you are better off selling for gold and selling the gold on AH

I would sell gold on rmah i think is too risk sell on other sites bro

it's a pain to see 30% go down the drain, but i'd take 70% any day over "alternatives" such as other sites or flipping items on rmah.

I am talking about the EU RMAH

its 15% of lets say 100 euro. Thats 15euro blizz takes. That gives you 85 euro on battle.net or - 15% of the 85 eurp if you want them transfered to paypal, and paypal will take 12.75 euro. That leaves you with 72.25 Euro.

To sell an item on RMAH for 100Euro is almost imposible. Unless its VERY good. And very good items on GAH cost 600M+. But 600 is worth more than 100 Euro.

I personal think its best to sell 10-50M aday than get 500M and then buy an item that you HOPE you can sell for more. And it takes a lot of time to get 500M, ergo bigger chance of getting banned with loads of millions on your account.

Right now gold is at .49 on US. If Blizz takes 15% for the sale, then 15% to transfer to paypal, what about the paypal fee? On their website it says its .30 per transaction... if you sell only a few mil at a time it leaves you with nearly nothing. Or do you sell it to the Blizzard account, then transfer the lump sum of 500mil or whatever to paypal?
I realize this sounds like a really stupid question.

Thanks in advance if anyone is nice enough to answer.

Cheers,

Atlas

1 mil, 0.49c/mil - (0.49c x 0.85) x 0.85 = 0.354c

100 mil, 0.49c/mil - 100m x 0.49 = $49 | ($49 x 0.85) x 0.85 = $35.4 | $35.4/100 = 0.354c

Whatever the sum has no difference. Blizzard's stated fees is the only fees you have to pay.

Once money is in your blizzard account you cant take it out... only use for buying blizzard games LOL. no thanks.

ya i'd rather take extra 15% fee and have my money to use how I please then have it trapped in Blizzard land. Like others have stated it's 15% + 15% not 30%...and not to mention you do lose 15% for selling the item on gAH to start with...but none the less rmah is a tough nut to ***** sometimes.
