Hi guys,
well everytime i've ever used a questing bot it has taken alot longer than questing normally would. I end up leveling slower than the grind bot... All the ones i've ever used (Dwarf 1-60, Human 1-60, Draenei 1-20) have basically worked quite simply... See a quest giver, get a quest, and then start randomly changing between which quest your doing for hours. 3 hours after starting the very first gnome/dwarf quest (collect 8 wolf meat) it still wasn't done, 6/8 were collected, 2 of the 4 items for felix's quest were collected and a few of the trogg's were killed for the trogg quest and if i do end up completing a quest. The name of it is usually green or yellow which anyone would know generally means the quest will give poor experience. On my draenei, after 5 hours he was level 8 which normally takes on average 2 hours.

Has anyone here actually got very far using the quest bot? If so, can you please direct me to the bot you used and any corrections you made or tips to help me :)

Honorbuddy is a fantastic bot and i do not doubt it's greatness! I just wish i had more luck with the questing bot. It's a fantastic idea!

Questing functions are still very new and in beta .

It sucks, so many thing that needs to be fixed.

+1 !!

Have ANY of you cared to spend the time on reading that its Questing BETA !!!!!
The download of it - and even when you set the mode to questing in HB it clearly states BETA!

I came here asking for help not for people to come in here and whinge because they didn't read correctly.

I think its a bit missleading thread name, if your asking for help...

Green / Yellow quests isn't poor experience. It's optimal actually. If you try to level fast by hand that's the quests you want (high green, low yellow). Same with mobs and grinding. You never go for the mobs above you but the green ones.

I do generally go for mobs that are my level or my level +1 while grinding. It makes mobs a lot easier to kill, with a negligable amount of experience lost per kill compared to a mob that is 2 or 3 levels higher than you.

Roll an undead horde - and use hawkers undead 1-50. Worked for me.

Seconded, that profile was great, it got stuck once in the Scarlet Crusade castle, but beyond that it worked fine!

i tried hawkers 1-50 and it failed, it started attacking everything instead of doing the quests even though it was on questing beta

Did you start it around quest givers or just out in the middle of nowhere? I've had to start it right in the middle of a town before for it to register questing for some reason.

To answer the OP's original question. Yes the questing works, I leveled a warlock from 1-52 using the questing mode. I gained 22 levels doing AV weekend and have stopped at 75 due to a busy schedule. I used both questing and grinding on my level 32 shaman and got about the same amount of xp per hour. My latest try is a druid who is now 52 using the questing. There are some problems with it, but nothing that really kills the xp.

all people complain need a HEADSHOT, hopefully people finally read when it clearly states: BETA = BUGS! use at your own cautions.

once you got the hang of that you know you are only helpfull if you post a log of what went wrong, where and how!, if you don't your as useless as all other complainers not posting logs.

Devs are busy day N night as we speak to sort the HB/GB systems, the just don't go chill and do nothing, they work there asses of for us so respect that and wait till they release the next BETA!!!, unhappy? wait for a stable version!

from www.honorbuddy.com: "Honorbuddy is a World of Warcraft PVP, Leveling and Questing Bot. Honorbuddy is as easy to setup as ABC."
imho it should state right there that the questing feature is beta and requires you to use an HB version that is not deemed stable yet.

Not complaining, just saying :)
