No way to increase range?

I have my GB maxed at 50 yards, but I miss a lot of herb nodes when they are further than that. Is there no way to increase my harvest on a flying mount? I'm using Tony's howling fjord long run at the moment if that might make a difference.

What do you mean you have it maxed @ 5? Isn't the default range 100yds?
 
sorry it's maxed at 50 yards... not enough coffee this morning :/

I might be wrong but I thought the maximum range only applied to land mounts?

It'll skip nodes if another player is at the node or even targeting you if you have 'Ninja nodes' unchecked or if it's blacklisted
Ya the range only applies to land mounts.

Hrmm ok thought maybe something had changed I don't see anyone else in the area and I am seeing a lot of herbs... I'll try a different profile, maybe others are farming.

Max for ground mounts is 50y, there is no max for air mounts that I'm aware of.
 
I'm watching it now using a different profile, it still seems to be skipping nodes. even when no one around.

In my rush to get gb loaded and going I forgot to recheck the air mount box after farming lowbie herbs before my morning coffee....
