DB hardly worth using without CIGGARC

This is annoying. All the profiles worth talking about require some form of profile management ( RadsAtom, Rads profile changer beta, etc) but seeing as to how a fully functional one is not available, I cant bot without my clients mishandling the profiles or have them properly handle profiles but have HALF my clients crash.

I am not trying to come off as annoying - though I'm sure this is - but could the DB team please either 1) offer profiles that do not REQUIRE some form of third party plugins or 2) provide the necessary plugins. Until something something gives, I can hardly use the product I purchased, unless I manually switch the profiles by hand, which seems to defeat the purpose of botting at all.

db sells the bot only

profiles and plugins? thats up to users


happens on other bots too besides the "buddy" team
 
DB Currently supports ciggarc's profiles modified without any profile manager if im not mistaken and the recent build 70 I believe had some fixes to the leave profile tag.
 
I want to reiterate that I know the devas are working hard and I'm sure we ALL appreciate their efforts.

So there were some fixes? My speculation is that improper 'death handeling' is to blame the profile loops in the same game on.

And re: stormwar, there are tons of issues with radsatom; it crashes most peoples clients when they use it. If you go to their website, the plugins portion is full of complaints

hmm i was there when i downloaded it but i havent had any issues yet and i run 3 clients. Now just a thought not trying to bash but maybe its user error. maybe something is set up wrong maybe your computer cant handle it.(just questions)
 
I stopped using RadsAtom awhile back. Now I use Trinity to load all my profiles. After the recent inactivity timer bug fix they are working flawlessly. The only thing I miss is having Rad's keep which profile you loaded first in case the game does need to restart due to inactivity. That's a small price to pay for not having to worry about yet another plugin which usually crashes my DB at some point overnight as well.
 
If you used stock DB you would have better success. This unfortunantly requires you do your own profiles and learn the syntax that is not really fully posted anyplace.

Just as everyone thinks Trinity is god send. It probably one of the bigger reasons for issues along with the ciggaric.
 
You don't need rads atom, most of the ciggaric profiles are full of stucks anyway, but as others said just change the continue tags to load profile tags and move on with life. If you need death handling bot a lower difficulty as you char sucks

The profiles you're talking about can easily be rewritten to support usage without RadsAtom or Profilemanager. The tags have been implemented in the beta - go look them up there. :)

Hardly true. I have never used ciggarc's profile for using public profiles as it is too risky for my taste (as evident by the mass bans on one of the Ciggarc act 3 profiles a few weeks back)

Asking the developers for an "official" profile is self-defeating and just asking for a mass ban. A better random dungeon explorer maybe.
