Money Flow

The scaling won't work in this case.

I thought about doing something like this with my SRX build. I think it should be able to handle 50 bots with isboxer. I currently have 6 Monitors so I can squeeze it all in....which makes the screen not readable, This is just my estimation. If I turn on my old SR-2 build I might hit the max 100 bots.....

This is means I need to turn on all 4 PSU I have 6k watts obviously not drawing that much but this is insane experiment.

Shall we test?

I think D3 is just like America right now....printing money.....and putting excess supply of items for sale....this will just collapse....it will be a while...

If Blizz continue to ban this is the only way we can continue to make money so essentially new accounts are generated so new gears needed....

But I am up for a test when I have time....

Currently running 4 teams of 4 bots...=16bots on my SRX which is under 10% load...

If you need 6 monitors then you are doing something wrong, you are also not thinking clearly to be talking about running 100 bots from within one computer. That is just stupid.

I control many computers and servers from one computer with two monitors alone.

Unless you are building some sort of wireless warship, you have no need for 6 monitors.

I also recommended 1 PC per 10 bots for the more common user as suggested from the $800 investment per 10 bots.

Why don't you just stack windows instead of tile? And what chips do you run?

you'd probably also need some pretty fking good net to run 100+ bots

Well I'm from America not sure where you are from but on a decent connection here internet speed is the least of your worry's for botting games. The only time you might notice some lag is if someone on your connection is downloading videos, like porn.

Hi guys,
Base on the comment I will give a brief spec.

My old EVGA SR2 runs 2 X5690@ 4.8GHz and 96GB of GSkill Ram at 1866MHz.

My new build is EVGA SRX runs 2 E5-2687W at stock speed and 96GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum 1866MHz.

My case I upgraded to Caselabs TX10-D with pedestal and extended top. I run both boards in that case with 3 GTX360 in push and pull. As well as Mo-Ra3 Pro 9X120mm radiator as well in push and pull setup. Using 2 Aquacomputer Aquaero 5 XT to monitor each setup. There is lots of details I will exclude. I use AP-15 fans of total 36 fans.

6 Monitor setup is for my business during the day. I do need it and use it quite frequently. No I am not controlling spacecraft or flight control.

These two machines I use them for number crunching and data modeling.

I have more compact Asus Rampage Extreme IV with 3960k extreme for more overclocking....I also use this one with 64GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 1866MHz ram

I simply offer to test if server type computers will be able to house 16 or more bots. Which is what I currently run, 4 teams of 4 in party. 16 bots.

Others will not need 6 IPS monitors for gaming, while I use it for work. Its not the best monitors for gaming however.

By stacking windows I can't manipulate them as easily as I do now. My 16 bots are not 120% AFK....even with DB_Run so I do need to tweak....

Also if this works, then maybe people can rent server boxes to run more bots? Anyone know of a company that does that? Its interesting for me to explore.

So just curious since this seems to come up a lot....who are you guys using for your virtual servers? I am currently out of physical resources to run anymore bots, and I have been looking into either purchasing a new beefy rig with a ton of RAM or renting some space. Only problem is although there are a ridiculous amount of places willing to sell me storage they are prohibitively expensive for only like 1-2 gigs of RAM. I feel like I would have to spend $80/month to be able to even meet the minimum requirements.

Some data centers will do this and yes a server would be your best choice for botting, everything is server-grade for maximum performance. Another great benefit is they replace anything that breaks since you are just renting.

In my opinion this is a huge waste of resources.

See that's kind of what I was thinking.....at the prices for the data centers that would meet my needs I might as well just buy the hardware. Thanks for the info.

What does a data center have to do with anything? Just don't run VMWARES that is what I said is a waste of resources.

Bumping this old thread, yeah, all things considered.

pretty amazing how much money could have been made back then

12mil/day now whats that like 30cents a bot?

10 bots = $3 a day

10 accounts is $400?

:(

And before that, Sarkoth which took us from like $5 down to below $2 / mil before nerf. And even before that, Arreat Core farming when gold was $5-8. And even before that, crypt farming. Gold was above $10 / m. My first gold sale was $15 / m, I sold 4m. That's when I decided to get into botting...

my first gold sale was 26$ per mil, was farming the witch with d3a (rip).

why bump this thread btw? so we can all tell stories about how great it was (and than ppl started making threads like this, attracting every shitnoob and his mother to bot the game as well hence decreasing our profits?)...

Game. Set. Match.

Much love.

Necro bump.

But my first gold sale was to lewt.com for $35/mill for the first week.. Ahh so nice
