106 Accounts banned

Certainly could be true - would take a bit of a PC farm to get all those bots up and running. What did you use to monitor it all? Buddystats, or true, live monitoring? Did you Gold Find only? Pick up only legendaries? Info!

Rofl come on guys dont fall for this. This is false report.

Not really. 1 PC can do 12-15 with even 1st generation I7s and a radeon 7850 or 2 6850s. Get a KVM switch and you only need 1 monitor, keyboard , mouse.

10) Was your account involved in gold selling?
Yes, around 1-2 billion daily

Cool story brah

1,000,000,000-2,000,000,000/106 = 393k gph minimum per account (not very likely) not to mention blizz takes an effective 28% cut on commodities your numbers just don't add up.

and using 1 rmah account to move that much gold? please...

Are you trying to suggest 393k gph is hard? Many people are getting 400-600k+ gph easily.

Enough with the stupid in this thread, if you don't have a clue what you are talking about then save yourself the trouble of looking like an ignorant ass hole.

To answer:

Farming was done in Act 2 mostly, also offset into Act 3.

10 Computers are used, all with I7-2600k processors within them. The bottleneck is RAM, not CPU.

I never said 1 RMAH, I also never said I sold everything through the RMAH. The vast majority is sold privately, as it's only $0.04 less per million. For reference, it was 4 RMAH accounts. All survived.

Note that even though it's 106 accounts, it's actually 318 characters. 108 EU, 108 US, 108 Asia. This brings GPH all the way down. You need to keep in mind how many bots are running here, I don't really care if they're not all doing 300k GPH.

The majority of gold comes from pure drops, with extra from items. Trying to monitor 318 characters for drops, however, is impossible. Almost everything is vendored.

Will I continue? Potentially. As you have kindly pointed out, my first posts on here were not that long ago, all relating to WoW. I'm currently running 21 bots in WoW (didn't have enough computing power to do more, as D3 was ruling) and each of them is doing more per hour than D3 was. The accounts are also cheaper.

Each PC was running 20-30 instances of D3. Each PC has 16-32gb of RAM.

*** and MAC address changes were not used - They don't do anything. Running this many instances, you also can't afford for the wasted resources on VMWare.

Why did I post? I figured that's what this forum was for, to say when you get banned. I guess I was wrong.

Whether you're bullshitting or not, you should have expected to get a lot of speculation when you post that 106 accounts were banned. Very few people are running that much.

Most people running a big chain of bots don't spend much time here / have private bots made for that sort of profit. 90% of the people on this forum are pure idiots, so just ignore them and rock on with your bad self.

I've got to wonder why bother grinding the ASIA realm? Seems like that is a huge waste of resources, I also heard that Blizzard updated the TOS saying that you are not allowed to play on more than 1 realm at a time (though I haven't confirmed this myself).. Personally I seem to get banned less when I bot in one realm only.

Basically you are tripling your risk of a ban because any sort of "scanning" for bots would be done separately on each realm. (in my opinion)

If you rebuild, I think you would find it much more profitable to run 100 bots on one realm for items in Inferno mode - sure you'll have to go through items but you can just set the bot to keep stuff worth 10mil+.

Wow maybe this explains why gold price has been going up a few cents lately. Sorry about your loss. I do want to see your farm though ahha, sounds pretty awesome.

didnt you read the post? Always somebody supervising the bots... Simple husband and wife team or two gay dudes is more than enough.
lol!!!

Whatever it is i believe he is telling the truth. Especially when he said he deal mostly gold selling as it is impossible to monitor loots from 300+ accounts.

or something to do with the dupe being fixed... GEEE I WONDER

i must say...

U FUCKIN ROCK!!!

$5500 investment for accounts was very well done!

is it okay to ask what type of internet speed doing all 10PC with 106 bots? what's the UP and DL speed?

I have comcast 20mbps dl and 1mbps up.... and it is starting to slow now... and I am thinking of an upgrade the net speed... but not sure if it is my speed or d3 servers messing up...

i have seen people complaining about getting DC'ed as well..

if this is true, how do you run 20-30 instances off an i-2600k? i have 2700k overclocked and my cpu maxes at 12 clients

Has to be more than 30 instances/pc (318 characters ---> 10 PCs), if not 1 or 2 PCs are running way more than 30, at least according to what he's saying. Would lowering the resolution more than is allowed in the game options do the trick?

Wouldn't that only reduce the load on the GPU?
