Ever since Giles got ill (get better soon, man, we all miss you), there have been various independent users trying their best to improve this already awesome plugin.
As a result, we got various separate updates that, put together, could very well make the core of GilesPlugin 1.7 when the man comes back.

So, my intention with this thread is to bring all those changes/updates/bugfixes together so as to make it easier to get things properly organized and running more efficiently.

-Switched to the new Community Trinity, created and developed by users hti and rrrix. This is the same as v0.45 except for a few changes made by those guys. And, of course, that huge GilesTrinity.cs file is now neatly split into various files to make it easier on developers and people who couldn't find a piece of code if their lives depended on it.

Loving this idea for a community updated Trinity until Giles recovers (get well soon lad!). Unfortunately the majority of my changes are character specific for me, and would only benefit other wizards using the same build that I am :P

archon changes, new molten snos, a few extra death handling debugging prints.

This is dumb though. Somebody should make a real repository instead of all this stupid attachment crap.

Also, I'm annoyed that nobody uses patch/diff.

I wrote the email addon linked above a couple of weeks ago and diff/merging with all of the changes Giles include in each release is kind if annoying. It would be awesome to get some of these enhancements into the gile's mainline code. Could someone set up a github project while we wait for Giles to get better?
 
While they're at it, refactor the project so it's not one gigantic .cs, with multi-thousand line switch statements and methods :)

I tried doing this but my head almost exploded. Refactoring RefreshDiaObjects() is like trying to un-tangle barbed wire.

I'd do it, but I don't want to use my regular Github account (for obvious reasons), and I dunno if I have the energy to maintain multiple accounts :)

I agree it is needed, but Giles was pretty against it... out of respect for him i'd say we should keep the coding style as is, unless you are willing to fully support a fork as well as Giles was about supporting Trinity :)

About the github, I remember Giles being against it, as cfong said. I can't tell you guys what to do, though.

This code is more complicated than I thought at first. I could try to add everything by myself, but it would take some time to find everythin tbone has added.
That being said, I want to ask of tbone that he adds the changes to the unified .cs himself and send it to me so I can upload it. If it isn't too much to ask, of course.

I'll look into cfong's mod right now and expect to update the unified .cs with his changes today. So, no worries!

Decided to go ahead and add Email Notification. Could someone please test this new .cs file and tell me if the notifications are working?
