Thinking about to run HB to be a seller, please help!

Hi! Guys I have been working for myself for about 7 years now and I am away from "work market". The problem is that I might lose my job and I am thinking about what can I do if this really happens. One of the solutions I came with was to sell WoW gold for living.

What can you tell about this? I have wife and a little 2 yo daughter. I will be looking for more options but once this is really close and possible, I would like to see if this can work out.

As far as I can see I can farm around 5-10k gold per day only botting about 5-8 hours.

Can you provide me any advice to how run a business like this?

How many bots/wow accounts do I need? How many hours botting every account per day? What is gold amount to get per day? How many chars per server? Only gather herb/mining is enough?

Please help me guys, I really worried about have no money to pay my bills next month. Thanks alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
use the search bar, loads of threads has been made about this
the result is always the same, get a new "real" job, and make a buck or two selling gold in the sparetime...
 
get a job.

do not rely on selling onlinegamecurrency. thats more than stupid. get ur ass up, get a (new) job.
 
I am just thinking about everything I can do for now... I am fucking scared!!! Dont know if can get a job just like "this". Anyway, I will do some search here, maybe few bucks from here would help :)

I wouldn't recommend you doing it "For A Living". But its gona take a lot of work & maybe some investment if you wana be a bit safe.
-You gona need at least 3 accounts (Not SOR accounts, those are for selling your gold) with at least 2 Level 90's on each.
-Get all the professions you can Min>Herb>JC>Ench>Inscrip>Tail>BS

It's not as easy as it seem,Thats a start if you want more info search the forum.

Circles, thanks for this starter help. I have some money saved now, so I can keep myself for about 1-2 months. Luckly my daughter is getting out of school now cause of vacation and almost finished to pay my car bills, this gonna make my money last sometime more.

Right now I have 2 woW accounts, 1 is my main, the second one only for farm, both have at least 1 char level 90.

What does mean "SOR Account"?

Scroll Of Resurrection. You can buy those from chinese sellers for about 30+ gold and 30 days of raf gametime for 5k. But they are getting banned often so i wouldn't recommend.

Got it! I was thinking about to buy just a regular wow account, spend about 50 bucks per, i guess this is the price now right?

What about to sell the gold? I mean, lets say I get a buyer, what is the safest way to handle like 20-50k to somebody? Just create a low level char and delete after you pass the gold? Does it help at all?

Guild transfer..mostly likely your buyer will provide a guild where you will trade the gold. but you got to be careful...Information regarding everything from leveling to selling your gold is all on this forum. Just look around and get use to things before you start.

I was thinking on doing it like you, and sell the gold.
Price is at 0.35$/k, not worth it.
 
The biggest problem is not making the gold, but selling it for a decent price and not getting caught in the process.

At the moment im making about 1,5k an hour on one bot mining/herbing without any shuffling/crafting which im thinking of doing since it makes people suspicious with the 100+ stacks a day. Gold comes stupidly easy, but since gold prices are at 0.35-0.39$ you wouldnt be making as much anyway.

Its hard to earn any real money on gold selling at the moment, if you dont find private buyers willing to pay some more and bypass the middleman. The buyers (middlemen) make 200-300% profit buying from us.
 
I gonna start to check how much I can make per hour. I guess atm I making about 5k per day, but only botting about 6h. No shuffle, nothing, no auto stuff, just gather herb/mine and sell in AH.

Do you guys have any good addon that I could use to monitor it? Or maybe a HB pluggin?
 
Just figure out how many stacks of something you make each hour and average ahprice and youre done :P
 
Take it as an investment. Because of how quick people want money for gold these chinese buyers are gonna make so much off the gold they are getting for cheap later on in the expansion.

Lets use Ghost Iron Ore for an example. People who are farming tons of ores daily and posting them on the ah for cheap seem to have no clue what they are doing....The question they should ask themselves is why are people buying these ores. I haven't farmed for like 15 days now because of how cheap ghost iron ore is 2.5 (50) gold or less per sack. In the last 15 days i bought about 25,000 gold worth of Ghost Iron Ores. With JC & Enchanting only i have made over 130,000k gold from those and still have mats left over. Just showing an example of buying things cheap and selling it for double or more the price in a couple weeks. Patience play this game.

heya olivete i hope i can provide you some useful tips,honestly i agree with most of people here that selling gold atm cant hope for become a sustainable bussines since the only thing , __ban__ this only one thing always get in the way to make some starter or new people in the bussines hard to reach the top over time (getting neutralize by the ban,time , energy , and cash loss ), time will provide you lot of experience in trading ,farming methods also,,but since you trying your best searching alternatives for your family i understand that and willing to give u some tips hope it useful :

-get at least mid high end pc with 8 core and 8 giga ram pc , there ocasionaly a good situation that our account not getting banned for sometime , and you can maximize this situation by adding 10 - 12 account at 1 pc,save more room place and easier to handle with a good pc also double the gold input
-having a powerful and useful connection for your work,such as a good middleman that can getting your gold to the market with 0.8 ++ to 1.1 price even at hard time like today,having a legendary black dealer for cd key,,this one depend on your farming style,,if you decide want to go all out like great risk go 24/7 farm for make 1mil gold at least each time u sell,,then u might want to have a legendary black dealer that sell you a cd key like almost free,,(im serious ) like maybe 4- 5 bucks per cd key !i never say that these key is gonna be legal,,so use it like a crazy mofo / freny like 24/7 online and multiple it to 50 account

Guys... got a question.

So far as understood I will need like 1-5 bot accounts, gather and so, or how many I thing is enough right? One of those will be my guild master and all others should deposito gold into that guild correct?

After I get a buyer, I should get a new account like vanilla or something really cheap, join the guild, get my gold off, sell and usually delete this char and blalblalalblalla.

Sooooo, besides this vanilla account, should my other accounts (the farmers) be a RaF or is just better have all of them not connected at all?

Something like:

My main account (raid, pvp and so) >>>> Raf 5 accounts
Separated account to just to sell the gold.

Is that config ok?
