Hey everyone!

I'm new to d3 botting, though I did bot d2 for a long long time.

I have a couple questions and I'll provide as much detail as I can so you guys can help me out.

My setup is going to be 3 accounts - 1 for my GF, never will be botted, always live played. 1 for me that I plan to never bot and always live play and then the last account that I plan to bot only while I'm live playing on the same computer that I'm playing my account on. The bot will run on average about 8 hours a day I'd guess, and it's main purpose is gear for our main accounts + maybe some extra cash.

What is the best way to get items from the bot account to our clean accounts, I'm assuming not trade or dropping items on the ground? Is there any way that I can set it up so that if the bot account gets banned that I do not lose either of the 2 clean accounts?

I read another post already and plan to run the bot on my machine via a different user account, however the IP will still be the same, so does that put my clean account at risk as well?

I'd rather not use VMs and IP changers, however, if that's the only way to make sure my 2 clean accounts stay clean, I'll do it.

There are no definitive answers to those questions sadly. It's all theoretical as no one knows what really gets you banned.

Personally, I've been drop-trading items and gold since I started and I'm running strong at 3 months. If you wanted it to look legit you'd have to trade your bot items for items/gold but that's just time consuming and annoying.

Just know that there is no 100% way to keep your clean accounts from getting hit but from what I've seen of ban reports most clean accounts don't get touched.

Ok cool. Since you've been drop trading, have you had any banned bot accounts yet and they left your clean account alone or you're just up and running for 3 months with no ban? :)

So far no bans. *crosses fingers*
I am, however, seriously starting to considering opening a "clean" account as I see they usually survive the ban.

I have a mule that I transfer everything over from my account and than my main which has no connection what so ever so my bots. I went through 4 or 5 banwaves n lost most if not all bots in n my mule n main have never been banned.

Are you going to use RMAH on your mains? if yes do not use bot on same ip... do not use same install for your bot. download webcopy only for bot do not clone the install.

when i bot i dont worry about bans for.my bots they just dont ever get banned with methods i use. Foremost is security for my mains all hand playing that i have put a few hundred dollars to each with rmah. I protect my legit account as much as possible. Do not bot main accout ips. For example my mains do not hide they use my n ormal ip addy.

However all my bot use PPTP. for those of you who think a PPTP connection is more liable to get flagged than your five bots on one ip. wake up figure it out.
