Wizard cant do MP1 act anything :(

So I have been running act 1 and act 2 profiles on MP0 just fine never dying, generally one hitting most normal mobs. But as soon as I try MP1 I can MAYBE get past one champion/rare/elite mob but something always I have issues with. I have tried searching all over the web for what are some minimum stats for a wizard (CM) to be doing MP1 or higher but it's quite difficult. If someone could lend a hand or point me in the right direction that would be awesome :)
 
Also I should post my stats

Build is Diamond Skin (Crystal), Magic Weapon (Force), Frost Nova (Bone Chill), Energy Armor (Pris), Energy Twister (Storm Chase) and Explosive Blast (Chain). Then CM, CB, AP.

Int is roughly 2250
Health is 35K
DPS is 102K buffed
Resis are all above 734 buffed.
Crit Chance is 38%
Crit damage is 300%
 
ok i spent maybe 20m on my cm wizz is all i got was ALL CRIT INT AND CRIT DMG gear with some ap on crit and i can clear a3 mp1 with 0 deaths really easy it just takes a brain

Ok that's good to know. Is there anything I can sacrifice in order to get more life or vit items that you can see?
 
I have a Wiz, I would say quite decently geared and I am botting everything up to MP3.
Some time ago I was in your situation, kinda struggle to do anything decent after mp0 then I have been playing with skills and items to get the best combinations and voila', Wiz can bot.

2 suggestions: Melee dmg reduction (blur+Ice Armor+Tring of ears = 40% - dmg melee) + Stone of Jordan (30%+ dmg to elites). Now go act3 where most of mobs do melee dmg and voila!

Give it a try and let me know...
ah, and go Archon for the love of God..

Cool I will try and get those items at reasonable price.

Can you post your archon build? or are you just following the one that Giles posted?
 
Im running 7 wizards atm . mp 1-3 with 480 to 600 (depends on the gear and paragon lvl) and picking up 61 + weapong 58+ armor having like 1 legendary per hour + 105-125 rares per hour.. Gph even in foreground. It's like 0-1 death per hour, geared pretty well, but i'm using completely different build. It's like archon and max dps without Novas, but with chain lightning and Crit mass..
