Shadow Priest CC MoP 5.0.4 patch

Great CC only issue i have ran into is any mob that drops totums the cc keeps trying to put dots on it(which do not kill totums) so only suggestion i have is to have the cc cast mind blast or have it melee the totums down.

No matter which talent you have from the last tier, choose the one you have and he will use it.

This is a PVE CC not a PvP one.

I put !Me.CurrentTarget.IsTotem for the DoT's. That way he will not put VT, SWP on totems.
I also change the VT to prevent him for casting it twice. Hope it will work now. Realy annoying that VT check. (maybe HB issue)
 
Hi Pasterke, nice Routine but got some Probs.

Tier 3,4,5 are only usable on Bosses - unchecking "only use on boss" does nothing - after next config windows opening the checkbox is set again to true? any ideas?

yeah, HB problem. If you got error : could... attach log ..., then you have to restart HB, otherwise he don't write anything to the settings file.
 
Ran a couple of dungeons and noticed right away that it was rarely using Mind Sear...and that it would cast Vampiric Touch twice in a row rather than just once.

So glad you are working on this. Singular is outdated and our Shadow Priests have needed a little love for awhile in the CC area.

Few Options I'd use if they were in:
  • Psychic Scream with # number of adds? (When not in a party)
  • Void Tendrils (and then move slighly) when # of adds.
  • Use Devouring Plague on # of charges (When grinding I often use it on 2 charges)
  • Use Fear Ward on CD. Never know when you may get feared.
  • Use Dispersion at # of mana. (Or use during Psychic Scream CD period if # of adds and not in party)

I've been doing a combo when I get 3-4 adds on me. I'll cast Void Tendrils, then Psychic Scream them. They are rooted in place and not attacking. This gives me a moment to heal up some and then dot everything and Mind Sear or single target down.

I've been watching my guy for about 20 minutes. First time I've seen him do this, but he's not eating when out of mana during the downtime. I've been at an average of 5-20 mana for 4 pulls. Is this a CC issue, or is it a setting somewhere else?

There you go :)

He will cast Psychic Scream in combo with Void Tendrrills if you have that talent.
He will cast Psychic Scream when adds < than the use of mindsear and > 1 (otherwise no sense, mindsear will break the scream)

You can use Fear Ward.
Devouring Plague at user defined when not in party or raid

Dispersion was there, but forgot to put it in settings :)

nope, singular does mindblast, but i even looked at overall damage on my recount, not 1 mindblast :(
i also watched it for a half hour, not 1 was used

Strange, no1 have that issue so far. My toon is casting Mind Blast when I test on dummy.
 
First of nice CC, I like it a a lot. I love the movement disable. However, would it be possible to also disable auto face target. Sometimes on fights I need to run/move, and hate to fight the bot to turn because it tries to constantly face target.

Yup, mine isnt casting mindblast neither, when it has the proc to cast the free mindblast it doesnt, it would be good to cast it like the mind spike does :)

I'm floored with how fast you responded and updated this Combat Routine. Thank you for all of your work, effort and time put into this project!

Damn thing is almost playing the priest better then I do!
 
You should look into setting up a SVN and just updating through that. I did it for my profiles and makes it very easy for the users.
