Starting a WoW Gold Selling "Ring"

I am just curious about people who know of people on their realm who sell gold. I used to know a guy on the Deathwing-US server that would sell gold personally via Skype or w/e and was usually about the same as the companies online. I was wondering if anyone knew how these people get started or setup their network without getting caught, but still getting their name out there. Also wondering about the networking you'd have to make cause you'd only have to supply to ofc the faction you are apart of either it be Horde or Alliance. You will have to compete with sites etc, but I dunno.

I'd assume things you'd need is...

Guild Bank w/ all slots. I think a max lvl guild would be best because of perks etc.
Multiple farming characters.
A bot, like HB.
A lot of free time on your hands.

Um... everyone who sells gold does it online.

What I did when I used to sell gold was sell it through OffGamers at first, and told people I played with on Skype or something that I did. They'd buy stuff from me or have their friends buy stuff for me, made a couple hundred quid without being too serious about it.
