Hi there,

I thought i would write a quick guide on how I like to bot 8)

What it does:

Takes care of everything for you, all you have to do is power on your VM.
At windows startup, it will connect to V.P.N and as soon as connection is established, it will run D3 and DB.
DB_Run and RadsAtom combined will ensure that everything is running correctly and staying logged in, while V.P.N Lifeguard will make sure you will be protected behind an anonymous IP.

Requirements:

Diablo 3
Demonbuddy
VmWare Workstation
Windows 7 ISO
RadsAtom: Login
DB_Run: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...n-command-line-based-anti-crash-relogger.html
Bat to Exe Converter: http://tiennot.fr/romain/public/Bat_To_Exe_Converter.exe
V.P.N service provider
V.P.N Lifeguard: http://***lifeguard.blogspot.fr/
Giles Trinity: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...s/70841-trinity-download-here-v1-6-3-4-a.html

Instructions:

Start by setting up VmWare and W7 as instructed here: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...1741-guide-vmware-d3-they-way-shoud-done.html

Install everything including plugins in DB, make sure they are all checked in the Plugins tab.
Configure RadsAtom relogger and all other plugins

Setup your DB_Run as instructed here: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...n-command-line-based-anti-crash-relogger.html

Convert your DB_Run batch file to exe using Bat to Exe Converter: http://tiennot.fr/romain/public/Bat_To_Exe_Converter.exe

Configure V.P.N Lifeguard after having configured your V.P.N connection in the windows network manager.
In the options, chose the DB_Run exe that you made in previous step as managed software
Still in the options, make V.P.N Lifeguard run at windows startup, connect V.P.N at startup, and run managed software.

Voil?, fully AFK botting !

I'll update the guide when I have time, don't hesitate to ask questions.

By the way if anyone has tips on how to automate Virtual Host startup and maybe a reboot once a day, any info on that would be really appreciated; it would make this 110% AFK !

I dont checke the guide because i already have setup and use vmware because i'm an mac user
But i wanted to start making an guide

Why do you need an rebooter?
I understand you need that for the RAM and when that's the case just use HBrelog by using breaks

I sometimes get system crashes on some VMs, no idea why, so a reboot from time to time would be great.

Thanks for the guide!

Question for you:
how do I install a 2nd instance of diablo on the same computer without being detected by blizzard? I plan on buying the game cash locally, but I'm worried if I install it and activate it on my host computer then blizzard will be like "wtf, this guy installed 2 copies?"

should I install it on my "guest" computer that vmware creates?

Your best option would be to activate it from your guest computer using the same *** that you'll use to bot.

ah ya. Makes sense.

Last question:
I just read that having a *** isn't the best idea UNLESS you use a paid service. Reason being, the free ones are on a "black list" or ip addresses of sorts and blizzard can target them easier.
How important do you think the *** is? do you have one you recommend?

I was planning on just doing VMware

thanks!

Hi there Thx for this great , short & too the point Guide , Tho also some small Question,s !

Wich Os do you use , & do you use Hardware id changes , the Os ..is it a " Slimmed " down Version of W7 ?

Thkx!

i am wondering about this aswell . it,s kind of logic thinking they would list certain Ip ranges yes , maybe using a public Ip , " normal " would perhap,s be safer since you can be " seen " & logged , mybe less suspicious , but not sure i hvnt , multi-botted just yet or used ***,s ..

Would love an advice for 1 too ,

i give windows 1,5g and i have an 4g in my mac(hope to get more soon:-/)
I think that works abit but depends on ur activity on ur mac.. Just like on this other posts regarding starving the hosts too much, optimal range (1.5gigs) yes it is, but i find that it creates stutter or lag,

My setup is completely different since I too have a Mac

shaliuno's guide that you linked in your internal post doesn't work, so this guide doesn't say much atm, can you write more info including the ones on his post ?

Yes, dows anyone has a saved copy of the old guide? Or is kind enough to write one?
