Interested to find out more about the company behind the buddy bots....

What kind of company is it? Games dev? Software house?

I mean they can't be just working on games bot to earn a living right?

There are currently 1896 users online. 676 members and 1220 guests

I'd say they are probably making ends meet just selling bots.

i know it's outrageous that he should be able to afford furniture.

TBH @ miracle; why shouldn't he and the rest of the team, not be making money from our willingness to automate a system? They provide a product, and you and I paid for it. No different than any other business.

A bot is big business.

A lot of customers and a lot of people who buy multiple sessions.

The creator of PVPTool, Pirox, made a lot of money from the bot.

Actually, because its a Ltd. (GmbH in german) it has to make its balance sheet public every year. You can look up Bossland GmbH here: https://www.bundesanzeiger.de

This company has continuously growing.

2009: 34.000,87€
2010: 123.048,35€
2011: 197.700,10€

Let's see what will happen this year since demonbuddy has been released :)

That's it? I knew Glider had to pay a few million I thought in their settlement and I think he was still ahead a bit money-wise.

How does Glider's settlement have anything to do with Buddy bots? wtf?

That was the result of a court battle too, this is still ongoing.

Looks like they don't follow FASB

They have $256,000 in tangible/intangible assets.

They don't have to make anything public, it is a private corporation.

Thanks for this extensive statement. It was to my knowledge that a GmbH has to make a public financial report every year. That its private-led (which is always the case with GmbHs) won't change anything about this.
