So, it seems the patch literally doubled the size of my D3 install. Running 6 bots, the size of the folder went from 18 gigs > 35 gigs. It looks like there are new "cache" type folders for each of the bots i'm running (cache > cache-6) under this location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III\Data_D3\PC\MPQs. Each folder is roughly 4 gigs currently.

Anyone else notice this?

Mine went from like 9 to 11 ish. How the fuck do you have 35 GB in one folder for D3 and how did you have 18 GB in the first place?

How do you reduce the size of your DB folder? I mean jesus christ I just bought a new SSD disk 120 gb. Now this mother fucker has 17 GB available. I have only the OS, 3x d3 and 1x wow on it. How in gods names can it cossum almost 93 gb already?

delete the new 4GB cache file and it will be redownloaded which propably cause lags for a few runs, but then it will stay around 670MB - atleast for act3 runs

Is it possible to delete sound mpq or movie mpq? I dnt listen to sound or watch the movies of d3

Not just that, in my case memory usage went from 450Mo to 1Go.

Same settings, just the new 1.0.5 12Gb client.

Still looking for disabling D3 graphics completely.

Let me know if u have anything.

Thanx

:S My D3 always used 1 gig of ram :( Deleting cache helped a whole lot.

1.0.5 wiped out your D3pref. Care to share what settings you had to get that 450Mo?

Does vmare make it so that u only use 1 copy of d3?

If so, does vmware use cpu power?

Yes quite a lot, I'm at 50% percent of my i52500k @ 4.5Ghz with 3 bots in VmWare and one bot on my host.
