Having problems.

So with the bot back up now, I've been using Gatherbuddy.
My main farming toon has 450 mining and something pathetic like 40 blacksmithing, I ran Gatherbuddy for about 3-4 hours using "The Safe" and only made a bit over 200 gold. Saronite Ore is 15G a stack on my realm, and titanium is 189G a stack. What am I doing wrong?
Should I use a different profile?
Was I getting unlucky? Maybe there was another character slightly infront of me getting to all the ores before I could get to them.

Any tips or suggestions on what I should do to maximize my profit?

Do you have epic flying? I make about 3-4k per 16 hour session with 450 herb/mining, mailing to alt, and vendoring saronite stacks.
 
I don't have epic flying yet, I'm making pitiful amounts of cash I can't afford it yet.
How come you vendor your saronite stacks, how much does a stack of saronite ore vendor for?

Stack of bars goes for 25g (12.5g per stack of ore), on my server ore goes for 11g most of the time.

5g if I am correct.
 
So then, what am I doing wrong?
Should I try and use another profile? Surely a 170% speed increase doesn't scale down profits by THAT much.
 
Bump, sorry if bumping is against rules. But this is kind of important. :P
 
Saronite Bar Stack = 25 g ( needs 2 Stacks of Saronite Ore to make it )
Saronite Ore Sack = 5 g

5g x 2 = 10 g // 10g - 25g = -15g , so you lose 7.5 Gold on each Ore Stack if you vendor it before smelted it into Bars
 
So it's recommended that I do make Saronite Bars out of Saronite Stacks?
I made a little more using that profile Tony, I made about 900G in 5 hours.
 
Its recommend to do a second profession, either Herbalism or Engineering for the Clouds with the Zaphtrottle
 
Yeah, I'll be picking up herbalism today. See if I can get it to 450 :)
Thanks Bossland for helping out a customer, really brings Gatherbuddy above all the other bots.
 
If you made 900g in 5 hours, with only mining, that is pretty good. I make about 2-3k every 10 hours, with both herbalism and mining.
