How are you guys that are running 2 or 3 bots at the same time doing it? Are you using virtual software or just playing all the accounts on 1 copy of windows? I want to start using 2 bots at the same time but I dont want to spend to much time setting it up and I need some advice from you guys! :)

make 3 copies of the folder ? whats that about?

If you have multiple installs of D3 you can run them at the same time. If you have 3 D3 folders, you can run 3 at the same time, etc.

Would u need to do any changes other than copying out the d3 folders? wont they still detect that diablo exe is running ?

same problem
but different question
should i copy 1 demonbuddy for each d3 folders?

Not needed. You can run the same demonbuddy for all the d3's you are running. One issue you will most likely have though is config settings. Say you are using the Trinity plugin and you want different settings for each one. It would be best to have multiple DB folders. If you don't have multiple db folders the config will be saved as the last changed... if that makes sense. However, if you want all your bots running with the same settings just use one folder.

7. I cant open more than one D3!
A legitimate concern. There are a few solutions with varying degrees of complexity, I'll mention four of the best ways to do it, from SIMPLE to COMPLEX!

A: Copy your D3 folder. Create a shortcut to Diablo iii.exe from the copied folder. In the shortcut, add -launch to the end of the Target. EX:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo 3copy\Diablo III.exe" -launch
Note: Run this as an administrator.

B: VMware #1: VMware is a program that creates a virtual machine that runs from your computer. It really puts a computer in your computer. You have to either buy this program, or download it from shady corners of the internet. Once you have VMware installed, you're going to need a windows iso. Pick whatever version you fancy, there are certain optimized ones that require less resources (such as windows 7 ultimate sp1 x32 lite v3 by nil-nt.iso) but if you're not comfortable, a full windows 7 iso is fine. Once you have the VM set up, simply drag and drop your Diablo 3 folder from your real computer to the program files on your virtual computer. You'll create a virtual machine for each copy of D3 you want to run, with a separate Demonbuddy folder in each. For added security you can also use a virtual private network to change the IP address on each VM.

C: ISboxer. This is less resource intensive than the first VMware option, but I've never tried it so I can't help you. Sam_m316 sent me this PM that explains how to set up ISboxer. To avoid taking up a ton of space, I posted it in an image. click here for the image CLICKY. Or if you don't want to visit an external site, here's a text file. isBoxer.txt

D: Vmware #2: There's a detailed guide on how to run multiple bots from multiple VMs in a fashion MUCH more optimized than I mentioned above. Here it is . If you're bad with computers this is probably not for you.

Is there a difference in performance in what options someone chooses? Ive read that if u make seperate folders instead of using vmware that the folders would perform better meaning u could run more copies of d3

I use VMware, any problems in performance there, but it is slightly slower VMware
