Tired of Honor Buddy

I run multiple machines & get different results on each...therefore I don't think HB is to blame for everything. On my main/gaming rig, I never have problems.

On my laptops I occassionally have problems. To resolve them, I turn off ALL addons, start HB, select BG Buddy & hit start...that's it. I sometimes have to wait 1-3 min while HB/GB is thinking about shit, but once it starts it runs flawlessly all day/night.
 
I agree with Billybob -- i was able to run Gatherbuddy -- not at ALL flawlessly -- but it ran long enough in between errors that it was worth using --- i turned off addons except for gatherer and it worked - somewhat --- better than before at least!

That's all. We haven't had news for some days, we don't know how bad is the problem, we don't have ETAs, and even if ETAs can't be given, at least a negative ETA like "it won't be fixed in the next 2-3 days for sure", etc, etc.

Are you really that retard?
There were things on Beta and on PTR that weren't even in the game, Blizzard added shit on the Live game, and even they have bugs.
Just fucking wait a few days, and be patient.
Staff is doing what they can.

Rofl, you're right, he should have never moved, how inconsiderate of him to make us wait to BOT while he took care of some real life stuff.

I am slightly amazed, while I probably shouldn't be, at the way some people act. No one here is entitled to anything, yeah, you paid for the bot, we all did. That doesn't mean you get to know every detail of everything they do and demand they work harder. You bought a product, doesn't mean you own them and they need to work harder for YOU. These guys work hard to get things going and honestly have done a great job so far, some things are easy to fix and others take some time. It's only been a week. Yeah there was beta and ptr but things changed since then so you can't completely rely on that just chill out. Soon enough the bot will be back to how it was, and probably even better as they usually do it.
Also, losing sleep over this?? Really?? It's a game, so you don't get honor capped over the night, big deal. I AFK my bot grinding, farming, and BG'ing every night and it is always running strong in the morning when I wake up and even if it isn't? Big deal, I still got a couple more hours of grinding/farming/HP then if I wouldn't have had the bot.

TL;DR: Just chill out and wait, stop acting like spoiled brats QQ'ing every 5 mins
 
I agree to 100% We paid for a bot that would be perfect with no problems! But no.. They aint done. And WE must code for something WE paid FOR.

Its almost that i want to get my money back and go to another bot... sadly :/
 
Yeah, chill. I'm not the happiest person about what's going on, but there is no point on being impolite.
 
I understand some of you are angry at our service lately, and honestly, so are we. We have a fairly lengthy to-do list of things to fix for HB, however, when our auth servers go down, it means all of our bots will have problems. I've spent the last 3 days or so fixing the problems, and as of this morning, the new auth server software is up and running, and handling almost 5x as much traffic as it did before, even faster than it was handling things before. I'll be pushing this new software to our other servers in a few hours once I go through our logs and ensure nothing is broken.

HB is our top priority right now, and we're actively fixing any bugs we run into, or are reported. Give us a little time to get things settled down from the mass hysteria, and you'll see the fixes coming.
 
i have found if i disable my anti-virus software honorbuddy works fine, done loads of bg with it and no problems, some of the gathering profiles arent great but work

so it looks like the issue is with anti-virus software not wow

Yes, this seems to be the issue. Lets all shut down our anti-virus software.
 
I've learned nothing is perfect, especially when dealing with a bot such as this. I can't imagine how much work is involved making it perform correctly and what's needed to be done to keep us as users safe from the banhammer. It will never be 100% perfect or flawless, so you need to learn how to work around the little bugs. Especially when so many chances have been made with MOP.

Is it frustrating at times? Absolutely. Is it still worth it? Hell yah.
 
-_- If you guys haven't noticed they push updates extremely often.. Sometimes more then once a day.. They had to do a near full re write of the whole bot.. + They are still fixing remaking things.. They are working extremely hard.. These threads are starting to piss me off -_-
 
I'm just jealous that some of you get as far as being able to use BG Buddy or anything else. I still can't even log in without an error/crash. I realize they're working on it and I know the expansion just hit, but it's been down for me for months despite downloading the updated version and following any tip I have seen in the support forums. If it would help, I would happily pay much more than I did for this service. When it was working, it was awesome and I loved it. I'm just waiting for updates..when I see people saying it's working for them, then a friend of mine who is more tech savvy than I..will help me by making sure I installed everything correctly.

Since I mainly use Combat bot or Lazy Raider, I suppose all I can do is wait anyway since the new CCs are pending.
 
I don't know what you all are doing wrong but I have two level 90s both in full dreadful gear thanks to honor buddy. Haven't had a single problem with BGBuddy either.

all i am goin to say is this happens ever time a EXP comes out if u cant learn how to play the game urself for the couple months it takes them to work out bug u shouldnt even be playing the game and i love goin up agianst ppl like u cause u are the ppl that have no idea what there doin in pvp u just use this bot to get gear then try and talk shit when it is goin to take u tell the end of this EXP to even get close to a 1500 rating cause u try and let a bot do it for u stop complaining and give it time if u dont like it stop using it no one wants to listen to u bitch if u cant help fix the problem u are the problem so stop complaining
