Tripwire reliability?

Tripwire says its safe to use buddy products but a lot of people are getting 72 hour bans...
How come?

That's not related to the tripwire.


Tripwire = a "protection" against warden.
When warden "detects" a bot, it's a perma. Not a 72h suspension.

Just use common sense....if blizzard is gonna bother and work on detecting a bot, why only "suspend" it's users for 72h? ._.
Not to mention, the amount of characters banned does not even exceed a couple of % of the user base.

I still got my toon leveling for the 4th day straight using HB with no problems.

Well, they make money on active accounts, a suspension as a "warning" might keep the player from botting in the future.
Only Blizzard knows how and why they issued all these suspensions.
We can only speculate.

We can't KNOW why or how these suspensions came to be, MAYBE there's a SLIGHT POSSIBILITY that these suspensions are automated.
By SOME KIND of new method from Blizzard.
