So, recently since all my accounts were banned, i decided to spend sometime on making Profiles and eventually releasing them.

Started with a 1-60 grinding profile to make it the base of a grinding/questing profile.

First problem i had was that i couldn't separate the grinding hotspots from the quest hubs hotspots.

Now... i know that the questing is still in beta, but i haven't seen any plans mentioned about this.

If i can't separate both of them, the bot will just circle through them and waste time going back and forth from grinding spot to the quest hub!

Considering this is a 1-60 profile, it will all add up to the leveling time.
We need some new profile tags to let us separate both types from each other.

The second issue, is the navigation.
In the old HB you were the one in charge of telling the bot where to go and how to get there.
Now, you can only tell it where you want the bot to go, and it will figure out the "how" part on it's own.

In short distance travelling , it works good.
In long distance travelling, it's just fucked up...

I made my profile go from Ashenvale to The shimmering flats at thousand needles.
Instead if going through the barrens, fall to it's death, res and continue it's way.
It went through Dustwallow marsh, where the mobs are at least 3 levels higher than the toon in order to get to The Shimmering flats.

The only solution i could think of, is blackspots.
I've made over 15 blackspots of 100-400 radius, and it still figures out a "way" to go through there to the shimmering flats including going through the sea =<

A similar problem happens when the bot goes to repair or mail, it would end up diving into a pack of mobs.

We need more control over the navigation, some way to tell it "don't go to X zone through Y zone".
A plugin, profile tag or some option in HB itself.

Black spots are "okay", but due to the fact we can't really see the area it affects nor tell if HB will still be able to figure out it's way around the blackspot and still go where we don't want it to, it's not that effective.

I know that our dev team wants HB to be "noob friendly" which i don't mind.
But the "experienced" people deserve to have some advanced options to have more control over the bot.

Sorry if i sounded like i'm bitching or something, it's just irritating :(

I think the pathing thing may be a problem in future. The point is that if the bot ALLWAYS uses the shortest way from X to Y it will ALLWAYS youse the same way.
So for example, if you run 3 bots same time, same place, they all will be running the same damn way.
I know ther is a possibility to randomize hotspot-usage but what about paths?
If ther is only 1 path form X to Y you can't randomize the paths so you have to randomize the way the bot monves.

IMO the new nav-system is pretty awesome but it is a way to perfect.

integrate the mesh with the new navigation system.. the navigation system will be directed to goto the mesh and cross the zone that way, then calculate the shortest path if there's no more mesh to direct it. It might need a few more configuration options but it could work.

Thats a good point but I think it will complicate the profilecreation a way more.
I remember the times where you have to do a lot of work to create a good profile and I'm happy that I don't have to mesh anymore.

I think there should be a kinde of pathrandomizer or a possibility for the bot to not take everytime the 100% shortest way. It should contain a 5%-10% tollerance in it's precision.
For example: The shortest way is +100, -200, +1000 (the coordinates). So with the tollerance it can randomly choose if it takes the 100% shortest way or some like +90, -190, +1010 to it's destination.
