[Pet] Hyacinth Macaw Farm by fonzy

working fine for me also using Loot filter as i don't wont to have any problems getting stuck in booty bay just wanted to warn peeps if they are using loot filter and deleting greens to protect First Mate Hat http://www.wowhead.com/?item=2955#dropped-by is really rare and i am guessing will sell well. also was running for around 5-6 hours thought i tell you this i check the bot and the parrot is there:*) happy farming
 
im not getting this to work just saying

sold mine for 13000 tho ah took a good 600g had lots off interest many good offers 10k+ going to farm this bad boy for a while i fink
 
I farmed this for days but no drop but hey thats what happens, I got the firefly easy just this one not wanting to drop for me.

Guess i need to head back there and farm up another one!
 
well i just dinged 40 on my druid. and ofc i would like to make some gold along the way, so i decided to give this one a try :) but it doesnt seem to work for me, i have restarted wow and HB, loaded the right profil and mesh, but all it does is just standing still on its mount saying, "Moving to Hotspot" and i have been trying to run all along the route on the pic, but doesnt seem to repsond to it, on the other hand, it doesnt seem to have any problem kicking some ass, if i get into combat and just let HB take over.

anyone got an idea of what i might be doing wrong ?
 
I ran it for 6hrs and I received a bird and some blues, btw the bird sold for 10k also.
 
I?ve got the exact same problem as some others here :( When it runs back to sell, (not only did i manage to make it sell all my eternals with lootfilter) but it got stuck in the water :(

Would love if someone that have fixed this in some way would post their mesh here :)

Found the problem myself :) it seems that this profil doesnt work with chars under lvl 60 :) so i just changed it to 40 and it works now

like i said 2 posts above yours. you need to change the lvl reg in the profil from 60 to 40.

it looks like this:

<Name>Parrot Farming</Name>

<Mesh Name="Parrot Cage Farm.mesh" ServerID="34" />

<MinLevel>60</MinLevel> <------- change the 60 to 40 insted and it will work

<MaxLevel>81</MaxLevel>

<Factions>119</Factions>
 
almost 2 days of straight botting with this mesh not 1 pet. sigh, at least the hat dropped.
 
if you have an extra HB login, you can always farm this on your gold selling acct ;) LOL
 
3 birds so far, 2 days 18 hrs boted on the place :)

About 14k kills. (from Achivement stats)

What a fun project :)
