Money Making

I sell for up to 150 bucks/day, 1 bot... time to learn some things about the game.

No you dont, at least with only 1 character..

It's time to believe!

Comes out to a little over $500 in the last week.

Again, investing in a decent act3 barb does not take much, 20-25 mil = about $15-$17 (If you HAD to buy the gold for real money).

Running 1x bot on my old POS computer paid for my new computer I built, covered 100% of costs.

Which is why I say your returns will overcome the very small investment it takes to bot, in no time.

And believe me when I say this, there are MANY people out there making 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 50x more than me. I'm a small fish compared to other botters out there. Even though the D3 economy has taken a hit, there is still plenty of money to be made for a good while.

;)

I have all the requirements for act3, actually everyday i try to get better gear, (if that is even possible and without spending 100million on legendaries)... All the gold i get goes directly to get better gear... the classic requierements: 1200AR buffed, 900loh, +350mf with NV... 0-2 deaths per hour and running 24/7
Now just tell me the difference between you and me, because this is just nonsense

Ive had 20 auctions up now for the last week and none have sold. Almost all is legendarys and they are at 30-50% below the competitors.. So yea its very easy money..

your doing something wrong..... Put the shitty legendaries on gah. Legit legendaries goes on RMAH. It's simple

ok, so with the market now. That legendary worth 30M is worth 15$ rmah..... I dunno what to tell you

After blizzard rapes your Bhole, you should get around 11-12$

What do you mean with legit legendarys then?

Dont get how you can say its easy money now.. I get around 20-25mil per bot/day so that means around 8-10dollar a day. Not that easy money anymore imo..

Yeah, come on, you're clearly bullshitting. Maybe you had one day when you made that off a lucky drop, that doesn't mean you make that much a day.

I play with 3 Bots, one of them is on A3 Champ Hunt.
I have pretty good gear and so it takes around 45 mins for a complete run. Running with max. magic find 18 hours a day. I found several good things, but nothing good comes from the RMAH on the EURO Servers.
Found out that on ebay ppl. are actual buying good items for more than on the RMAH. So I made around 100 Euros the last 10 days.
But anyways, nothing special here. Atm. I am saving up my gold until the new patch. Maybe we will have a short increase in Gold <-> Euro conversion :)

wtf, how do you even sell d3 items on ebay ???

Doesn't ebay close those auctions? Or is selling pixels legal in germany?

I dont belive these stories. I mean people saying to invest real money on an act3 barb because you will see your money back in two days.
Ive been on act3 for a week and the only useful item sold for just 30?

My stash is plagued of rares that will never sell, and from the 15 legendaries i've got all were shit.

So everyone here is boosting his e-penis lying to themselves
Go be a 12 year old somewhere else

Seriously miracle get off these forums if you are just going to be rude to people in every one of your replies. Just because you either A) have really bad luck or B) suck (Can't configure your bot or gear your toon) doesn't mean everyone else does too.

His points are valid. And "toNyx" does come off as a child.
I would say you're being way more offensive than miracle in this case.

Well you can make money with Diablo 3 - But it's not something any child can do if we're talking about real - sustained - constant inflow of cash. I will share what I am willing to share on this matter.

Career Mode - Pays the bills: You want to have a strong background and education in economics and markets - d3 auctionhouse-rmah- and various websites work a bit like the stock market. If you want to make a career out of this you
will have needed to have invested many hours and learning in the virtual items department which includes several relevant business related fields. It is something you want to spend 10-16 hours a day devoting your time to the entrepreneurial
function of your business. Time investment is an absolute must which is against what makes botting - botting. You need to determine if you want to focus on the market itself or just let several bots run and do the selling daily. Do not expect to make
100,000 next year without working obscene hours and putting in vast infrastructure. Don't let anyone fool you - it takes a lot of work and you're going to want to specialize in it.

Buck on the side mode: Standard mode of botting for cash - Players may make a few hundred to a few thousand dollars total in their life off of Diablo 3. This cash on the side mode - is the ultimate outcome of most serious botters. You might put 1 hour a day in - collecting and selling items - and that is the end of your time investment. I consider myself buck on the side but have great aspirations to move up. I started selling gold at 20$ a million and sold over 100m at this rate. A week or two earlier it was 500$ usd a million - the game had just started. Currently gold is only worth 81 cents or so and thus around 50 on secondary sites give or take. You might sell what you find or you might go the next step and wait for patches and excessive use of the community to unload your gold at the appropriate value. I don't recomend holding hundreds of million in gold - instead I would suggest investing in items.

Other people just bot - because they can - same guys might use autoaim in call of duty.

Now anyone can say what they want - but millionaires typically are not made overnight and their are many facets of the diablo market. I know people who have made thousands simply buying gold and selling that gold 80 cents higher the next week as was the case with 1.0.4 - I thought gold would keep crahsing - when it raised a dollar I kicked myself as my buddy laughed.

Your best odds are years of education in games - virtual economies and virtual currencies as well as a strong background in college-level business and economics. Now you can be a star without these - but it is much less likely.
You need to decide how far you want to go and you need the education to back it up. If you started botting just this year - without the appropriate backgrounds - I do not believe your dreams will be fulfilled.

Anyone can run the bot - Anyone can make a bit of money from the bot - Not everyone will be able to make a career from botting.

You will learn plenty on the path; but you'll want years of prior education in the appropriate fields if you want to make it big. Ever seen a millionaire made from video game items?
Markee Dragon Show with Marcus Eikenberryinreallife - YouTube

This man can give you rudimentary tips for the business of gaming - as well as some horror stories.
He started selling items in ultima online and is actually one of the grandfathers of online item sales - If you're looking for the godfather - here he is
Once he made his buck and his life around transactions the games companies didn't like - he went legitimate and now only sells cd-keys for games
whose developers have warranted these second hand sales.

People have made a living from video games - but you need to make it your life - you need to take it serious - your involvement will be reflected in your profits.

Edit: It is important to note - You need to know at any time the carpet can be pulled from under your feat - If you want to make start a gaming career from botting - know that you will always need to know - what games next - you will want to capitalize on fresh games which just hit the market - demonbuddy could be shut down at any time for various reasons - You need to plan a life around it to make it a career- You cannot dilly-daly career mode you want that 16 hours a day to build your empire.

I am fairly new to this business but have made some good connections and the above is very solid advice. You need to put in a lot of work. The bots may be automated, but you need to research, and plan ahead for any bumps in the road
