Trinity - Barbarian Class

Giles, can you please add the Fury dump to be optional? It's bugging me again and causing annoyance because it sometimes uses it right as mobs are about to all die, and I end up fury starved, and he stops WW'ing and uses bash, or he's up against 1 target and dumps Fury, ends up starved and bashes instead of using WW because the Fury doesn't go up as quick on just that 1 target which is freaking annoying. Please make it optional.

I was going on 0 deaths per hour since using the previous altered version I had, and the initial 1.5, now I'm up to 9 deaths per hour -_-...

I've downgraded DB and back to 1.4.8 edited version of Trin. Until this stops working, I'm happy with it. No need to add more to your plate. Ty anyways :)

Don't shoot me if this is not the correct thread for this, but I see that my barb is doing 200GPH during champ farming in act3. Can I assume that at max paragon level (now lvl 33), it will be doing at least 500GPH. If this continues than he will be doing better in a few days than my goldfarming DH in Hell. Any barbs with higher paragon lvls seeing increase in GPH also?

Block amount: 3.7-4.7k
Block chance: 29%
Crit hit: 50%
Crit dmg: 190%
Dodge: 15%
Dmg reduction: 73%
All res: 920-1040
HP: 45k
Life steal: 3%
Life on hit: 1.2k


Build is standard WW with Overpower - Crushing Advance

You guys using a Mighty Weapon in Main Hand + Three-Hundredth-Spear in Off-Hand?
The Three-Hundredth-Spear sucks so bad in terms of
- Crit Dmg
- Life Steal
- Weapon Speed
- LoH
- Socket
(You can only roll one of the above stats)

+40% Dmg more from Ancient Spear and Weapon Throw isn't going to save me from Arcane, Vortex/Frozen/Waller, Molten, Plagued mobs.

Can't even survive Inferno Act1 with 50% Crit Chance.

Even a 30% Schaefers build outdamages a Weapon Throw build.

I use a 1h mace with a soc and ls for my main. I find that a mighty weapon isnt necessary if you already have high crit, plus i have a Ik belt with reduced weapon throw cost which keeps my fury bar at full most of the time. One of the main issues im having is survivability which trinity stats showing 9 dph. I think one of the main culprits is because the bot doesnt throw weapons at max range and ends up getting surrounded in too many occasions. Revenge and Ancient spear is ok at keeping me up from nasty encounters such as enraged demons, prestilences, phase beasts, and some elites but most of the time they bot would die simply because they hit in bursts which take chunks off your hp bar.

What is overpower replacing, WOTB or Warcry?
What kind of mainhand/offhand are you using?

I use a mighty weapon for mainhand for WW spec, It's a lot less damage and crit, but I come out ahead because of near infinite WW duration. Also 1.05 will be getting less fury from sprint tornados.

I can't think of why you would be having fury issues with that much unbuffed crit. Were you referring to an actual situation you observed or was it a hypothetical situation you want to avoid?

Anyways Giles removed the fury wasting from non-wotb but he typo'd the code or something so it still does it. How many death per hour do you get? I also want to suggest to you use a Mighty Mainhand, preferably blade of the warlord. I have worse overall stats than you and I average 0.9DPH after an 8 hour session.

Agreed, thats why im still trying to figure out how to tweak my dude to make it more efficient, but i do believe the max range issue could be contributing factor to at least 1-2 dph.

I left my bot running overnight and was hoping to get a decent read on GPH and IPH but unfortunately my client closed out and was reloaded with my relogger so the stats basically reset. Hopefully once i get home from work ill get a small sample size about 8hrs to give you a rough estimate. But i wouldnt take it for an accurate read since its < 15 hrs.

no, WW spec.

My buffed stats are: 48% crit, 900AR, 49k hp, 243% crit dmg, 2003 LoH, 0% lifesteal, 24% movespeed (before buffs)
 
ah i was about to say those stats as a weapon thrower is pretty nice.

still dont understand why we need sprint fury dumping. ww + sprint on cd is enough to extend wotb to full.. that option is completely useless.. only thing i see its useful for is.. maybe if u have blade of the warlord and u have trouble surviving and u always have full rage.. then u might need it?? i dont even..

and it bugs the hell out of normal ww'ing situations.. revert ww back to 1.4.6.1 state imo

Don't misunderstand my issue. Without the sprint spam, my fury is at 100% with 2+ mobs that don't kite around. However, the sprint spam often forces my barb to go bash a target cos it spams it all the way to 0, which allows my tornadoes to drop off, which slows me down and is annoying, so... I downgraded to a version that doesn't spam sprint. 0 deaths
