1.05 patch notes and the effect on demonbuddy?

Currently running a DH in Act 2, currently have 5.5k+ Armor, 81k HP, 81k DPS, 600 Allres... With the new patches,

I'm currently running Act 2 with a DH. Able to run succesfully with 5.5k Armor, 80k+ HP, 80k+ DPS, 600 All res... With the new patch, I'll be well over 8k Armor, 90k HP, 80k DPS and around 750-850 Allres.. I'll be botting in Act 3 for the Lols..
 
Spoken like someone who has no idea how ww barbs actually work...

1) As meph said, no one uses unforgiving in inferno.

2) I don't think you understand exactly how the coefficient affects sprint. A 60% reduction means you gain 60% less life from LoH, and 60% less rage from Into the Fray. Sure, WW costs 43.75% less rage, but you're generating less rage in the first place, and overall, from the coefficient nerf.

I won't comment on whether WW build deserved this change, but calling it a buff is ludicrous.

Yup. Will be harder to survive with 40% of old loh and major downtime with WOTB. You are squishy already with no shield, if you get frozen between some hulk beasts or some other nasty stuff, well....

It's not a theory, it's fact. You gain 60% less life from loh in 1.05, and 60% less rage from Into the Fray, on Sprint. It's not a matter of opinion.

Of course damage is the same, so people (such as you, I assume) who have good gear, and can survive the life/fury generation decrease will do as well as before. But that still doesn't make it a buff.

Basically patch 1.05 is
- A nerf + buy more gear patch that is advertised as a buff patch.
- DPS builds (which doesn't utilize defensive cooldowns) with 500M worth of gear won't see any diff.
- Tank builds will need to upgrade gear or change to DPS.

the patch is a BUFF overall. thats the point im trying to get across. we all know sprint got nerfed by 60%. please stop pointing out that obvious fact. that point has been established a long time ago before u even posted on this thread by blizzard.

anyways after playing on ptr for about 1 hour, did some testing. my survivability/rage regen even on a shitty gear has no change, due to 25% dmg nerf on inferno and changes to ww cost + using different passive. since i dont use loh, i decided to swap out some stuff i had in my stash to lower my dps and put on some loh. it turns out that i barely even need any loh even if im using gear under 25k dps@ monster level 2-4 (which they said it should be @ the same difficulty as now). so, your bots arent gonna die and it wont generate less rage. /thread

btw if you are playing monster level higher than 5, you have infinite rage from run like the wind ticks, coz the mobs dont die.

edit: actually found a livestream video of a geared ww barb on monster level10 ptr. kingkongor - 1.05 PTR , WW changes ? lets see ! - KingKongor - Barbarian, 100k heals & 10m crits ! watch at 4hour 29mins.

I'm pointing it out because you don't seem to understand that the ww barb's *main* spell got nerfed. I've said it before, that the defensive skill nerfs with the monster damage nerfs results in a net survivability buff. But ww barbs specifically, which is what we were talking about, got nerfed. If you're steamrolling right now with the new sprint, you would have steamrolled harder with the old sprint. THAT's my point, not some general statement about whether the patch overall is a good or bad thing.

i honestly dont see the difference, even with low gear or high end gear. dont see any difference at all. if anything i feel stronger. the sprint coefficient literally feels like it changed nothing probably coz of reduced ww cost. try it urself on ptr. it was NOT a nerf to ww barb at all imo.

go try it before u say anything again please.

I have tried it, and I've been keeping up on news from official and unofficial forums. No matter how you look at it, it's a survivability nerf (discounting monster damage decrease). Your main spell heals for 60% less from LoH. Reduced ww costs doesn't do anything other than balance out the reduced fury generation from sprint. If you can perma ww after the patch, you could perma ww before the patch. As I've said, established WW barbs with good gear will hardly notice the difference. But you're about the only person I've seen who thinks that low-end ww barbs are better off after than before.
On a different, but just as important note, it's almost impossible to keep up infinite WotB with ToC anymore. Which means even at the highest gear levels, farming speed was cut substantially.

It doesn't matter how you "feel" about it. WW build got nerfed, and the game got nerfed. Maybe relative to 1.04 ww barb you're stronger, but relative to 1.05 builds that haven't gotten nerfed, you're weaker.
