Bot for battle only

To be honest Giles Routine plays a lot better than me when it comes to killing enemies, so my question is:
Is it possible to control where the hero goes while letting DB do all the fighting for you?
 
I already use that, but I need to load a profile to start demon buddy, don't I?
 
The file name is confusing. It's actually the empty profile you load. The routine is still Giles Trinity.

I dont know if you quite understand what he is asking for.


He wants to be able to walk/control everything himself, simply have Giles do the combat only portion. I do not think that's possible right now...
 
Well, i'll try the empty profile later and see if it works. Thanks for the help
 
I've attached an empty profile/routine I use for testing. Just make sure you set your "Inactivity Timer" in DB very high when using this (eg 10+ minutes). Click start and run around as normal - the bot will kick in automatically for combat, looting, shrines, any form of object interaction - all you do is move around the map and get close enough to stuff.

Nothing against Giles but you guys really need to stop trying to suck him off. You do realize that a combat bot / empty profile has been released several times already? Same empty profile can be found in several threads.


Giles this was nothing to you just amazed how easy people start to bend knee and warship.

Giles have single-handedly made this bot 10 times better without asking for anything.. I mean, he didnt even take donations at first untill people practically begged him to take donations for his awesome work. So I dont think its strange he is so liked by the community

Small difference between liked and worshiped, like the second coming.

I have nothing but good to say about Giles. I just find it funny people dropping down to one knee because he posts a combat bot, that literally has been around since one of the first first version of DB release.

I promise I will make no official complaints if anyone does erect a statue of me and found a new religion. I might find it shocking, disturbing, scary, and might refuse to ever leave my home again - but deep down inside, there will be a part of me, the egotistical part, that is grinning ear to ear.

Still, all that aside, I don't think guills LITERALLY wanted to know if anyone had started to worship me yet, I think they were just expressing their thanks in more entertaining phrases than "Thanks dude" :D (in truth I am a bit like you and can sometimes find people a bit TOO sycophantic - but hey, I still appreciate the gratitude/appreciation!)

(PS: guills - if you were being LITERAL - please contact me - I have ideas for fourteen thousand, seven hundred and sixty five commandments, and have already found a suitable site for a temple on Google maps)

Well im willing to bet you use his plug ins too..He does great work and you cant deny that. Is there anything wrong with showing some appreciation to someone helping you make FREE MONEY and asks for 0% of it..

When you start your own religion can I use it as a tax shelter like tom cruise does with Scientology?

You're living the life of a famous person now Giles. You have to expect a couple of fanboys who have shrines of you in their closet. Doesnt sound that tempting, but who knows.. Maybe you'll get some groupies aswell? :eek:

I also noticed that the bot is better than me at playing D3, but am I the only one that's disturbed by that? The bot plays in such a way that no human can possibly maintain that amount of input for such a long time. I think I would only be able to play this way for a few minutes at a time. I have seen this bot come out of situations that are humanly not possible. Don't get me wrong, I admire Giles skills for programming this bot and I would be stuck gold farming with my DH without it, but I am afraid that it could make botters an easy target.

Being a good player isn't what makes you a target - it's what makes Blizzard not dare touch you because of the huge volume of serious gamers that play very well (and can play way better than any bot, too!). The more STUPID the bot is, the more likely they are to catch you, not the other way around. As long as the bot doesn't do anything that is LITERALLY impossible by human standards - and unless you have it running 24/7 7 days a week or something goes horribly wrong and it bugs out, then you have nothing to fear.

Of course, if you want to make your bot act stupid, just enable "TPS" in the advanced tab of Trinity, and slide it all the way down to 1. You'll now look extremely bottish and ridiculous, but at least it'll also play more "stupid" - and you can decide yourself whether stupid combat looks more or less human than intelligent combat ;)
