Authentication Failed!

I bought a Honor Buddy tonight, and my Paypal was charged.

Via the Buddy Auth Portal, I used the key, and received Authentication Failed from Honor Buddy. I followed the quick set up guide.

Any idea what could be wrong?

I appreciate all time and help to get me going with this!

Currently the bot is being preped for MOP. did you miss all the other posts?

My mate was able to log into his though. And when i attempted to use his key, it still said Authentication Failed. But not for him. Figured it was a local issue of some sort?

Im having a similar issue, I tried to log into HB using my product key on a different computer (my laptop) and Im prompted for my "shop password" I bought HB, is this because im logging in from a different IP, or is this something different?

If you are having problems, then i would advice you to please turn off your firewall briefly or make an exception for it to allow honorbuddy to work properly. I am assuming you will have a firewall such as peerblock or something like that in which is blocking it from making the connection.

There was a small patch tonight HB is currently being updated and will be available soon

Auth failed messages have nothing to do with the new patch tho
we will need the log anyways

Ok so I added Honor Buddy to my AVG and my Windows Firewall.

Still the same issue.

uninstall avg and try again
