Authentication Failed! And Itried all i can

I found that many have the same problem as I do.

I have confirmed that I'm entering the right key. And I have also killed my session from Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal

I have closed my anti virus software and firewall.

Now I don't know what to do.

I'm using Honorbuddy 2.5.6192.423, because the Chinese WOW version is still 5.04, I haven't updated my software yet, but I don't think that I should still be able to log in even I'm using the older version.

something is blocking Hb

add exceptions on firewall and antivirus
 
I have the exact same problem, it's been working fine up until today. Closed and disabled all Anti-Virus and Firewalls yet I'm still met with the 'Authentication Failed' message.

Same here..nothing changed on my system (maybe windows updates?) - disabled eset smart security -> same result :/
 
Buddy Auth

If you can log into BuddyAuth and see your key - you don't have any issues on our end. You'll have to see why you can't attach. Usually it is your ports are blocked (udp tcp 5031), you have another firewall or A/V that isn't truly turned off
 
I already added exceptions, but it doesnt work.

And the problem is that it was working alright this morning, and honorbuddy just failed without me changing anything in my OS.

I wasnt registered there. I?ve done this now...see the key (not expired) .... but still the same issue


edit - one thing forgotten: wow has downloaded today an update

This patch upgrades World of Warcraft from version 5.0.5.16048 to version 5.0.5.16057.

edit2: download hb again, start it without any issue...maybe the installed version was defect...

That must have something to do with it. Nothing has changed on my system at all from the last time that I used HonorBuddy. So it cannot be any service on my side that's preventing the connection/authentication like a Firewall or Anti Virus Software.
 
see my edit two @ my last post -> edit2: download hb again, start it without any issue...maybe the installed version was defect...
 
Yep, that works perfectly. Downloaded the bot again into a new folder, allowed it to update and it works a charm.

Must be something with today's patch that is troubling HB.
 
What about if I can only use the old version as my game has not patched?
