So i botted diablo2 24/7 with 40 cd keys and 13 characters using D2NT and all that stuff... I can set up that bot with my eyes closed and edit the configs and all that. But as far as this bot goes, I havent even a clue where to begin. I was looking at threads earlier and I saw somebodys profile that had a very useful "getting started" step by step write up, but of course I cant remember who it was. Any guides for setting up a brand new bot out there?

yeah, use ur brain,

1. start bot enter login details
2. load profile
3. enable the plugins you want
4. i suggest you to use gilestrinity plugin, rapes all plugins, and u wont need to worry about """"""complicated""""""" lootrules, wich isnt complicated but will be for ur brain wich cant even search on a forum
5. change the classroutine if you want to, or use gilestrinity
6. change killradius and protected stashpages and stuff like that
7. click start

Check out the FAQ in my sig to help get you started

it was you! Followed your sig, bot works now.
Its funny though, I can solo a3 and die twice or so from seige to azmo with 120k dps skorn wiz, i dont think the bot likes using wiz too much, seeing as how it dies to relatively avoidable things, even with Giles plugin and avoidances on. Probably gona have to roll a barb now and stack him. The new "hammerdins."

People have been telling me that monks are actually better than barbs for A3, but I haven't built one to try it out yet.
