The Fallen Grunts really need to be ignored. They get spawned over and over by the Prophets or whatever and the bot seems to have downs syndrome attacking them instead of the prophets that are spawning them.
You guys are morons for complaining about stupid shit like Goblins getting away, meanwhile the fuckin bot is spending hours killing fallen grunts that get spawned over and over.
Hehe, you've found one of those annoying obvious errors, well done!
what would i need to change in order to have the barb spam rend ?
If you verify this is picking up i63 I'll gladly donate on the next release. I noticed it didn't pick up archon gauntlets more than once. I'm currently using your old plugin with the custom loot rules selected which still uses your filters for weapon/armor score but it's just picking up everything since it's the using the default rules in db. I tried to do this in this new trinity version but it didn't work.

Use Trinity. Do a fresh, clean install - make sure there are no "disabled" plugins present in your plugins folder (these still run their initialization code, which can allow them to attach to events and cause problems). Make sure you are selecting "Use Giles Filters" in the Item handling tab (*NOT* custom loot rules). And make sure you set the ilvl requirements for each item type up as you wish (separate values for blue and yellow versions of each "basic" item type - all legendaries of any type automatically picked up and stashed regardless of these settings). You will miss far less items than any other combination of loot-rules, plugins, loot radiuses, or profiles, if you are using the latest Trinity. In the rare circumstances an item might be missed, 5 times that number would have been missed for many other reasons that Trinity protects you from.
- it caches item data to minimize mis-reads and reduce overhead.
- it re-checks cached data of important values such as item quality, to ensure a mis-read isn't cached.
- it loots during combat, with a higher priority for yellows and a large priority boost for legendaries.
- it forces slight delays after each fight to allow for an extra time-gap for loot to drop before allowing the bot to run on, incase it runs out of range while good loot drops.
- it uses my own item recognition code to handle item types which is much more reliable than DB's built in stuff.
- it handles the combat of elites and treasure goblins better and faster - meaning less deaths - meaning more loot per hour and more keeping your NV stacks.
- it handles unstucking much better, meaning less chance of your bot logging out and losing all your NV stacks/dropped loot.
- it uses custom code for the actual interaction with the items to enact the pickup, reducing risk of problems of interaction causing missed loot.
And that's just the things I can think of that relate PURELY to loot off the top of my head, not even thinking about the gigantic list of non-loot related things that are improved. If that doesn't persuade you from moving over to Trinity, I don't think anything will.
As for the donation - these are always appreciated and welcomed. Though I find it strange that you think I am only deserving of a donation if I convince you to upgrade to Trinity, until when you will instead use... my other plugins (which apparently don't deserve a donation)? I know I've only accepted donations since releasing Trinity, but I've been making and working on and releasing plugins for months now, and supporting the community for months. I'm a little disheartened/find it a little strange that people think this counts for little just because I didn't used to accept donations. Still - if you do decide to donate, then it'll help keep me happy, help keep me motivated to continue working on things, and I promise you you will get a warm fuzzy feeling for being in the <5% of people using my work that is both willing and able to help support and motivate an independent community dev. And if you get no warm fuzzy feeling, come on IRC, I give virtual hugs, that has given many people a funny tingling feeling![]()

Hi Giles, testing 1.4.4 with your recommendation to delete compiled folder and giles.cfg file. on my monk its still not spamming mantra enough. i'm usually spirit capped.
on both my monks. 1 monk has the 4pc bonus and other monk thats just normal geared.
Have you done a completely fresh install? Yes its annoying to have to reset all your settings, but whats even more annoying is reading the same thing people post about problems they are having when they dont try all the solutions that Gilesmith and everyone else has stated.
u read my post. i said with his "Recommendations to delete compiled/cfg folder/file."
Krizid - I have one monk bot, and I agree with you. It does seem to cast mantra just fine for the basic "buff" - but doesn't always spam it when spirit is full for that 3-4 second "bonus" boost you get with the mantra. I've probably missed something dead obvious off the code. I'd hoped 1.4.4 would fix it (I haven't actually watched my monk since uploading 1.4.4 to see if it did, totally forgot about it), if not, I'll have to see what I can work out.
