hey giles...

u have done a good work..the monk move flawlessly..avoidance works fine..but often in edges and narrow roads (like the way to azmodan lair)..if surrounded by elites or sandwich by them...it will stop and standing still for like an average of 1-3 seconds b4 attacking back..

but the biggest flaw i have seen on 1.40..is wow sometimes....when fighting elite group...it doesnt finish the fight....i mean it killed 2 of them...but the last one..it will ignore....and that is a very big issue there...

anyway thx for the awesome pluggin...


I noticed this once as well. He didnt run away either. It killed 2 and just ignored the third. I think it was blacklisted thinking it killed it or somehting
 
Restart the bot after new change skills otherwise they wont work properly since they are cached.

Thanks! Perfect countering melee champions, still getting owned by range casters using WW. It just keeps running around and barely hits them. (26k dps) How did other WW barbs handle this?

Awesome work on 1.4, 1.4 is like windows 7 to vista lol (no offense).

1 thing i noticed was the spirit walk for witch doctors is now cast when ever off cool down. I know others asked for this but ideally it should be included under the "use skill for movements tick box" as some like me still prefer to use it in emergencies.

i fixed it but delete the bit in the code that says selfbuff that seems to have reverted it back to before.

another note.i think 70% to use potion might be a little excessive as the default i set it to 40% personally.

really appreciate your time and commitment to this project.

And btw why the hell it would whirlwind away from monsters like 90% of the time. I mean logically it would have to whirlwind in the mobs diresction and not in the opposite way.

I find this to be the case as well, though I don't share in the dismissive tone :D Is there a reason it'll whirlwind away from mobs upon initial engagement?

Still doesn't use rend enough :(
Rend uptime is 20-30% instead of 90-100%
 
Giles bit of feed back,
when multiple mobs the plugin seems to be more interested in trying to escape than attacking, sometimes it does need to attack to get out of the situations
even when its not surrounded it wont attack just stands there and takes hits, really needs looked into. also globes not getting picked up that are in poison even tho there in a AOE it would be more beneficial to pick it up to save your life.

Also if anyone can supply me with there avoidance settings for a monk as im getting ruined with molten fire on the floor.

Why do ppl say WW barb r godlike now? I tried WW barb for a while, it's still not as good as rend+revenge, even though rend is still broken. WW barb tend to just use whirlwind standing still a lot. And bash/cleave don't work? There r attack animations but there r no damage or fury generation. Frenzy works just fine.

Any 1 else having the same trouble? Or it's just me patching new version wrongly

if you have problems with WW, then your gear isnt good enough.

This can happen with trash mobs too. I was fighting a bunch of trash mobs and when there was 1 left he just stood there ignoring it.
 
hi, im about to upgrade to 1.4 from 1.3 but didnt see the issues i have solved in notes (both about stucking)
first stuck: it sometimes gets stuck on salvage route in patch 3 (goes to chest, stashes , then goes to sell/repair, then tries to go to salvage, stucks at chest, when manually moved doesnt do anything)
second stuck: there is event on battlefields with barricades from the north side, newly implemented unstuck mechanic often just moves along the long barricade bordering event from the north and doesnt allow other unstuck mechanics to unstuck character either by teleport reset or leave the game (since char is constantly moving along border they seem to have problem detecting that its stuck)

also a request for a nice feature... salvaging blue items only, selling all yellow, currently on eu essences are around 850 and pearls worthless, common blue item cost at average 500 at vendor, while yellows are 1000+, so that way there would be more profit:)

overall great addon, my cpu usage dropped by a lot when i switched from belphegor to to your combat addon (it had issues with blacklisting loot before, was bit to much work to search and cut it off earlier:p)

How does the bot handle the WW specc. Haven't tried it yet because I couldn't imagine that the bot can handle the "run like the wind", battleshout and WW rage management ;D

Playing manually, WW barb is great. However, to buy the amount of gear needed to BOT act 3 with a WW barb is astronomical. It works fine for act 1, and maybe act 2 -- but there are far cheaper and more efficient builds for doing act 3.

I have a question about the item ID routine. Do you handle that in your plugin? Was wondering if a random delay between items being ID'd could be added (perhaps as an option?). It seems to ID items too consistently to allow for human timing errors.

Actually - there's only two bits of DemonBuddy still in control during a town-run - one is the handling of the portal (DB still does the actual portalling in and out of town), and the other is ID'ing items! I keep meaning to replace ID'ing items (and add options to keep certain ilvls/certain qualities un-id'ed for those that like ID'ing things themselves or sell stuff UN-id'd) with some randomized timing, but I keep getting distracted with the combat related and targeting related stuff ;)

LOL! It does look like that sometimes, but it's not ACTUALLY following the molten - it's trying to follow the mob! Which as it's leaving a trail and the bot is always going to have a slight delay on the monster's position, naturally means it looks like it's following a molten path! Annoying I know, but atm this is the fastest/simplest way of handling avoidances like that - maybe some simple fix will come into mine or somebody elses head that doesn't involve any heavy path-finding or over-the-top calculations!?

Very well. Give it a try. While it's never going to be as good as a human, I think that - especially since v1.4 - you'll be pleasantly surprised at how well a bot can handle a WW specced build.

Hey m8, nope it isn't that much amount!
my friend is botting too now and he buys gear yesterday. he gots nice gear for around 10m gold! FULL GEAR with 1100 allress, 25k dps, 9k armor.
it only depends on what youre searching in ah.
my barb gear costs round about 40m, because i have more dps.

we play with 2x1h - and you NEED rly good LOH - i have 1800 loh + 2.8 LL - otherwise you will die.

is anyone intrested, that i make a thread with my build + gear and my configs?

at 1.3.1 it rly sucks, but with the new 1.4 version, its godlike. the barb moves like a real player. try it! :))

BTW: when youre in tank gear, you can try it to! with 1.3.1 i played WW with my stormshield! :D
 
Giles, any idea what could be done to improve rend? The majority of my dps comes from keeping this as close to 100% uptime as possible on surrounding mobs. I know not everyone wants rend prioritized this way, but perhaps a "rend spam" check box could be added in the plugin settings? Basically anytime there is a mob within rend range that does not have rend, just have it rend again.

1.4.1 seems to get me stuck quite often compared to 1.3.1, and just saw it ran past a elite pack with 3 mobs i was like.. whut?
