[Plugin] Giles Trinity

Would this work exactly like a barbarian's sprint skill which is used out of combat until your mana/energy is empty? If so, I can do that no problem. Let me know if this is the case.

exactly, they way it works now is perfect, it would just be nice to have the added feature of use for moment like sprint on barb

Hey Giles,

You didn't respond to this before, so I did some more testing while I waited. After extensively testing it out a bit more, it appears that the trinity plugin always prioritizes trash over anything else.

When I kill elites and a trash mob gets in range, it will kill teh trash mob first. (This may be the intention)
However, when you initiate on a globin, it has the same issue. It will prioritize the trash and since a lot of trash tend to run away, it will catch the trash, and either forget about the globin or sometimes just get back too late.

Is there anyway to prioritize the globins even more? And have it not switch to trash when it sees it?

Also to note, if you are fighting trash or an elite and u stumble on a globin, it first initiates on the globin then forgets about it and goes back to the elite/trash.

I am using the latest DB and plugins (just 1.3.1 trinity and 0.9.0 rad )
 
All this plugin needs is ignoring certain normal mobs (the ones that run away), and smarter dealing with standing in the green shit.

Honestly the only reason a well-geared barb should be dying is because he's standing in the green shit all day. 2000 all resist isn't going to keep you alive if you're walking around in that shit all day.

That is exactly what is happening to me. It seems the bot is with REVERSE priority order: focusing grunts instead of shamans, and focusing trash mobs instead of elites (!!!) and goblins.
 
@GilesSmith what do you think about 0 fury cost throw weapon build ?

you can decrease cost of weapon throw to 0 via 2 legendary item

Can bot effectively spam that skill with 0 cost :D

or use it with combination of seismic slam effectively since you will generate fury with passives and other things ?

I just started using demonbuddy/gilestrinity and i was wondering if anyone could point me to how to access the item drop statistics? Ive gone through the logs folder, but couldn't find what i was looking for. Im sort of new to this and any help would be appreciated.

The barb completely ignores the ranged moloks in Fields of Slaughter and Battlements for some reason. Even elite versions of them.
This has caused me multiple deaths were I continuously try to teleport out while they are hurling balls at me.

Please look into this.
My kill radius is set to 40 so there is no reason that they should not be attacked.

Can you get the SNO's of those monsters for me? You'll need to have DB *stopped*, then click "dump ractors" in the info-dumping tab of DemonBuddy while those monsters are standing very close to you. It will list all objects within a range around you - starting with the closest objects - and will list their "internal" names, their actor SNO's etc. - I will see if their SNO's are incorrectly blacklisted.
 
I have noticed that monk - 7SS - Sudden Assault, teleports randomly and usually away from mobs. just something i noticed today.
 
Giles, one more thing to add to my previous, lengthy post. In combat, barb does not use Sprint to chase after mobs that run away. This is hugely slow. And, any elite ranged unit with molten outruns my barb, so he just stupidly follows in the molten trail.

got stuck for 3+ hours here, alternating between two positions. Using 1.3.1

As amazing as Giles is, he typically doesn't deal with stucks since they are generally profile issues :)
It looks like you got stuck because you chased an elite there, but you're still welcome to post the stuck in the A1 profile thread it it's a consistent issue (If its only ever happened once, it's likely a fluke)

I'm not sure if this has been reported already. But a LOS check would be nice. My chars spend a bit too much time trying to attack mobs behind a wall. (They aren't even visible)

Well, the thing I really wanted to report is failure of the unstucker to realise it's not working properly, but not an actual stuck. Stucks really don't bother me much, as you probably can't fix them all. Usually with unstucking plugins though they tend to realise they are not unstucking successfully and logging out. Not running 3 hours between two spots (it would've been more if I didn't reset it manually. Probably an endless loop). This is for sure plugin issue =)

The unstucker is designed as an aid to hugely improve what you already have, and it does exactly this. DB's unstucker is terrible. Trinity unstucker can actually genuinely unstuck you from many positions DB cannot, and a whole lot faster usually too. You should (and I do myself) utilize DemonBuddy's "Inactivity Timer" for logout handling on very bad stucks - I set mine to 2 (that's 2 minutes). My built in unstucker, while drastically improving DemonBuddy's, is not incompatible with other unstuckers that handle more advanced things - like loading last profiles, restarting the bot, or anything else fancy - and you'd be welcome to use other unstuckers. An update is coming out that will improve the unstucker even further - but again, it will not log you out - it simply tries for X attempts, then "gives in" - which allows DemonBuddy's inactivity timer to do what it is designed to do, or any other advanced dedicated unstucker plugins you have to do what THEY are designed to do (which, above and beyond what Trinity is already capable of, is probably only going to be logout handling). In the future, I may add a function to stop/log you out, but as I find DB's Inactivity Timer perfectly adequate, I haven't felt a need for this :)
 
Great job so far giles, seriously if blizz dev team had half the passion for the game as u have for this plugin, d3 might not have suxed so hard.
- Just reporting another issue besides the prophet/fallen grunt issue. Some of us are using cydea boss fight profile combined with act 3 champ hunt. I noticed the bot does not prioritize cydea at all, rather keeps attacking the spiderlings. Is this something that needs extra attention in order to be adjusted (i personally would have the spiderlings at priority 0, and just attack cydea) or it will automatically be fixed once the melle combat priority bug is fixed that is actually causing the resurecting fallen grunts priority engagement.
