An Act2 Champion Hunting & Questing Profile​


Note: CIGGARC's layout is awesome, shamelessly borrowed.

What does it do?

  1. Black Canyon Mine
  2. Road to Alcarnus
  3. Road to Alcarnus North to Stinging Winds
  4. Quest: A Royal Audience
  5. Quest: Unexpected Allies
  6. Quest: Betrayer Of The Horadrim
  7. Oasis


Required Plugins

If you don't use this plugin, this won't work at all.


For stashing and sorting loot, dealing with breakables, and fast and efficient combat/avoidance.
NOTE: You MUST edit the GilesTrinity.CS file located in the Plugins/GilesTrinity directory and add the following ID's (just CTRL+F and search for blacklist, you'll see the area) or this profile WILL NOT WORK:

ANY PLUGINS EXCLUDING THOSE MENTIONED ABOVE MAY AND PROBABLY WILL CAUSE ISSUES WITH THE FINAL PROFILE, BE WARNED!!

IMPORTANT: This version encounters a Cinematic, which is not to be confused with a CutScene, and DemonBuddy currently has no way of dealing with these Cinematics. It is a known issue, and I have recently inquired as to progress on handling them. However, at the moment there is no way of skipping the cinematic and while the profile will continue on in the background while the cinematic plays, when it ends the screen stays black until user interaction (pressing escape). I have been told it would be possible to code a plugin to call for a keypress of the escape key when triggered by a tag in a profile, but that it would be labor intensive and might not actually work in the end, so I will be waiting for DemonBuddy to implement some sort of handling for this event.

Now, there is currently a workaround that I happened to come across, and here it is:

Do not have Diablo 3 as your focused window!! It sounds dumb, but if DemonBuddy is on top of your Diablo 3 window, or anything besides Diablo for that matter is in your foreground, the cinematic will automatically close and stop the screen from getting stuck on "blackout" from the cinematic until you step in by pressing esc. It is because of this issue that I have considered this version a BETA, but were Cinematic skipping fully implemented this would be an official release. Enjoy!

  • Needed Quest: Q4.1 (A Royal Audience)
  • Death handling --> Ignore
  • Everything else will the bot handle itself

It's an awesome plugin...
Needs some fine tuning since it was just released, but it's very nice for us champion farmers :P

Well, using our ability to read, we deduce from #4 that instead of continuing on merely grinding champion packs before eventually resetting, this will (at that point) do quest 4.1 (which many have stated as being a prime area to farm the ring). This profile's entire purpose is doing that quest, and acquiring a 5 stack of NV prior to doing so.
 
Ive personally been alternating an script like this and one doing palace only, no luck.

What you think is best:

25 games / hour with 300% MF

Or

8 games / hour with 375% MF (5nv included)

Starting to believe Blizzard is nerfed drops, just cant be people finding it after the patch in 20h and not droping now after 1 week of runs !!!

Honestly I haven't ran this for more than the past 1-2 days. Prior to running this I was running the act 2 inferno profile modified for normal mode. I'll run this for a few days and see what I find. I've been averaging 2-6 legendaries a day over the past week, capping 375% MF w/ 5 NV stacks and running A2 champ farm on normal so we'll see how this compares within the next few days.
 
What plugins should a 60 DH use? i mean will the normal DB loot defaults pick up legends? And would generic be the best option, since trinity isnt supported for dh?
 
That is, will giles stash replacer pick up legends that are this low level?
 
any ideas how to tune this profile and trinity for monk to use tempest rush?
 
Hi, excellent profile. I got it running smoothly the first run. However it never enters the sewers before logging out, and once it enters the next run it starts at royal audience, not getting the valor buff. Any idea whats going on?

Also any way to add in Oasis? That seems to be a hot spot for the ring.

This profile doesn't enter the sewers, at least not at the moment. Also, when your game resets after completing a run, if its not going back to profile 1, you probably don't have the required "rad's profile manager" plugin. Also Oasis isn't possible for this run as the 4.1 quest hasn't unlocked it yet.
 
Anybody found the ring with this profile?

First run i dropped a legendary Axe, now its the 15th run and nothing drops ^^

Legendary's wouldn't be legendary's if they dropped on average of 1 every 15 runs ;P
 
Found the ring after 4 days of solid farming (8+ hours per day) doing a desolate sands > dahlgur oasis run. Think I've gotten 20 other legendaries so far and will keep doing the run hoping for a better roll. 40m per ring on a bad roll is still money in the bank.
 
I just got this profile running, few hours and I got a 27% Leoric's. Very nice setup, exactly what I was looking for.
