Where did the nice 'Jumping' plugins go?

Not sure why people like jumping in their bots. It doesn't make it look any more human.

The only way it would make it more human is if people believed that bots can't jump or won't jump.

When I hand play, I find myself jumping constantly out of boredom/habit/whatever. I also notice a lot of other people jumping all the time. Therefore, in my opinion, jumping makes the bot look more human.
 
You must play with some really twitchy people. Meh...to each their own I guess.

I don't PVP...ever, especially when I bot. Hmmm...lets see how can I put my automated bot in front of as many human eyes as possible? Of course sign him up for the one thing that can pretty much only be played by actual humans.

I never thought PVP botting was a good idea and I hear people calling out people's names as bots in BG's all the time. Just asking to be banned if you ask me. People do it, but its not for me. I like to stay much more low key.

Also things look like a bot to you because you know its a bot. Try logging on and having a friend see if he can tell if your character is a bot without tell them. Of course every little glitch and pause looks ridiculously obvious to you. You are looking for things that look like a bot. To someone who sees your character for the 30 seconds as they are passing by aren't going to see it. They are either going to notice you are hanging out in the same area a lot, notice a pattern, or ignore you. Jumping a lot just gives a false sense of security and depending on when it jumps it might even cause issues with the movement. The bot isn't expecting you to be jumping around and if you are then you might not end up where the bot expects you to end up.

Whatever lets you sleep at night, but honestly I doubt this would save you from a ban.

Wired released an updated 'King Jumper' to be compatible with HB2. However, it was King's project to begin with and he mentioned earlier in the thread that he would update it.

Looking forward to the update.
 
Oh ok. I know he removed his work at one point due to a suspension

I've never used one myself, but one of the traits of a non-botter would be mindless jump spamming.
I guess this plugin makes it so we appear less bottish.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong..

I've leveled over 10 toons with Mixed mode, not a single ban.
It's fine as long as you have a good profile + CC :)
My bots are usually in the top 5 in any BG >.<

I have both been farming milions of honor points at level 80 and done mixed while leveling.
The thing is that it does not get the attention on you, because you look like everyone else bored of killing mobs and therefore is jumping arround or whatever reason might be. When I play I constantly jump because if I don't my thumb will tickle. :) You also get the great advantage by jumping arround in PvP. It helps you not looking bottish, because it makes those sharp turns more smooth, like you would turn with A or D. I will upload a video about this when the plugin is complete.

If you don't like the PvP bot, don't use it then, but for the love of God stop looking down on those who use it, and try to ruin it for someone who would love to use the plugin, just because you wouldn't use it yourself.

I haven't looked down on anyone. The only thing I've done in this thread is questioned why someone would want to use this type of a plugin. I gave my opinion of why I don't think its automatically "more human" to be randomly jumping around. If you think it is more power to you. I didn't tell anyone not to use anything. I said I don't PVP because, as I stated, you are intentionally putting your bot in front of many many human eyes constantly. You may have gotten lucky and not gotten banned, I may not be so lucky and so I chose not to do it. Each person must make that decision for themselves and both your opinion and my opinion my factor into what they decide, but neither of us made anyone do anything.

I'm all about options so I encourage everyone to write all kinds of plugins for HB/GB.
