To all ya farming act III

How do you set belphegors to spam wotb when elites are there?
 
Do you mean how to set belphegor NOT to use wotb on non elites?

Go to Settings , " Barbarian " tab , scroll down to " Wotb AoE count " and drag it to 20. Bot will only pop it if there are 20 + non elites. But it always pops it for elites

id say spend the gold on a decent LS item and if it doesnt workout, just resell it. your only losing at most 15%
 
you know what guys, the solution might be to let the bot run through every map twice... i will try it, maybe that might do the trick with not picking up everything :-D
 
in my opinion you shouldn't really waste time farming at all unless you've got mf.

i was in your position, no mf but full barb gear. found nothing but blues mostly.

then i browsed the AH for barb gear with all the stats i need + mf. so i've got like 210% base mf now, and i'm finding rares regularly (almost every pack 2-3)

Even though I'm lvl 30 Paragon by now - I got 0 base MF. And I find ALOT of rares, and around 2-3 legendaries a day.
 
Making a killing farming Act3 on a barb with 225MF base. I did drop MF in gearing from Act 1 -> 2 -> 3 but not much. No where near 30mil in gear though, thats luda-cris.

This. You dont need MF to farm. I started at paragon lvl 10 and I found better stuff at that time than now with paragon lvl 30+. Its all luck.

You also have to consider the fact that blizz buffed most of the items in 1.04 which made all the previous items almost useless, it was almost like starting from scratch again. In a couple of weeks I can imagine the prices on post 1.04 items will drop a lot in price when people have been able to farm for them for some time.

Mf helps a lot. It doesnt only increase rares but also increase the number of affixes they'll roll with.

I think you're wrong. Mf only increases number of rares / legendaries , the number of affixes is based on ilvl of items , which is not affected by MF
 
I've read this thread and the thing that stands out the most to me is "50-60 rares an hour picked". What the f?
I have 3 bots at this time. 0 MF act 2 farmer, and ~200 MF base act 1 farmers. The first one does ~10 rares an hour, 2nd and 3rd 15-17 rares and hour. I mean, I know 10 is low, I am in the process of transitioning to act2, so trying to figure out stuff, but the 1act bots seems stellar. They barely die ever, they have MS and MF. I can't see how 50-70 rares an hour is possible at all. I mean, am I missing something here?..

Nah, he's right. MF affects each roll directly. Each roll meaning: legendary roll, 6 aff rare roll, 5 aff rare roll, etc when the item drops.

Of course it helps, how much it helps? no one truly knows. Why would they put it in the game if it has no effect at all? Placebo effect? And Im saying you dont NEED it to farm unlike the guy who said you shouldnt farm at all if you dont have it.

When a monster drops an item, Diablo III randomly determines the item?s quality from a chart that includes item quality and the number of affixes present. The game randomly "rolls" on each property in the chart to determine which affixes your item will get. Your magic find score is applied as a bonus to these rolls.


Learning to read helps i guess....
