To all ya farming act III

Do you manage to squeeze in mf gear along that 1100+ ares and 60-70k hp ? I am currently farming act II with 700 ares, 50k dps 65-70k hp barbs, and i am not quite satisfied with the loot. Should i drop my mf gear for additional 500k ares and switch to act 3 ?

If that's the only way to go, I would. Heck, I'm going to with my barb, although I barely have any MF-gear left. With NV and Paragon I'm already near 250% anyways and it's only increasing although more slowly of course.

Is that combined with a decent base mf % like 150 or more? Good job on your item hunt if you managed to get these stats with high mf, as I've spent 200+ mil on my barb and have 10% less stats than yours.
Anyhow, about act3, you will be pretty much fine with those stats, however as I assume with that dps you are dual weapon WW built, id suggest you ditch the offhand and replace it with a good block stormshield and use a rend built. WW barbs are not really viable for act3 unless they are strongly overgeared and with tons of AR and Armor. The problem is that the champ packs with desec + arcane + prison /or waller/ are pretty common in act3 and at least for me a more defense built have much higher survivability. If you are interested in my rend built pm me and gladly help.

P.S.
By the way do not expect miracles loot-wise in act3. Ive been running for 3 days now 20 hours per day with 300% MF (NV included) and I've been getting ridiculously crappy rares and several low legendaries. The most expensive item ive sold at the AH was a 7 mil 2h crossbow... so you have an idea.

Even that doesn't guarantee a success, the good vit/str/Ar/mf/soc items are 40-50+ mil a piece.

We are all in the same boat bud, mine misses like 40% of the loot (and yes he is not looting items he should as 63ilvl rares, tested by myself when I picked up an item he left on the floor). I still cannot figure out if it is a gile's plugin or core DB error that is causing it.

btw, about ur item hunt on the ah. Make sure u buy items during 6-11h pm period. Later and in the early morning everything that is left is overpriced crap that nobody bought during the main gaming period. its a huge deal at what period of the day u go item hunting the ah. Also, i am using a shield and still manage to get 50k dps fulyl buffed frenzy and rage (30%). Shields are crazy now, got one with 18% block chance, 65 ares, 210str and 210 vit for 2.9m on the ah few days back...

And no, i am not ww barb.

Yeah, thats why i am not doing A3... missing too much loot... doing A1 Crypts, no good ilvl legendaries so far, but some good rares that sold for a couple of mils here and there

Act 1 is just not worth it dude, farmed it for 2 days with 6 babrs that clear elites in 5 secs, best drop i had was shield, 150 str, 63 ares, 9.5 crit chance, 18 block (that was pre 1.04 shields buff).
Also, around 250-270 mf prior paragon.

But he clears the place quite fast still and im looting like 50 rares per hour , which is a very decent amount . In 2 days i probably looted at least 6-7 legenderies with him. You had to be very lucky to get 50-75 on one day. Act 3 is ok farming but people should not expect these results, its very rare

Ye it probably were quite lucky days , but i still think im gonna keep making an average of 20-30 mil per day

Im ahead by just a few mil since botting for the past week and a half in A3, spent about 35m total on my guys gear, will probably spend another 10m to make him more efficient.

As of right now, i dont think its worth it to farm A3 being that DB and Giles are having issues with loot. Once those are taken care of, then we'll see good profits can be made. My gold farmers are making more money right now throughout the week, its steady income and doesnt rely on luck (in terms of gold not ban LOL)

I think if you get 1 piece of item that has % life leech, youd cut your dph in half. worth the investment imo.

Im getting really nice healing from Globes , and besides , almost all my deaths are from ranged Elites that keeps sitting in shit and thus my barb won't hit them. Thats why i dont rely on Loh or Lifesteal at all
