Judging from the recent bans in EU, blizzard is starting to ban more and more champ farmers. Just thought people might need a heads up given people wanting to invest heavily into gear for those act2/3 farms. Makes investing that 80M into a decent act 3 farmer a risky investment...

(Yes, botting is always considered dangerous but some activities are more so than others)

spent 150m on a monk to farm A3, got banned 10 hours later....WTF!

Most the Champ farming bans I have seen either botted 24/7 or lvld through queen. I dont think blizzard is flagging based on how the runs go, or just being on 24/7.

Well, if under champ farm u consider 24/7 farm period, then i dont care even if it is 10 ppl playing on turns, the account will still get banned... I dont wanna judge too hard here, but anyone boting for 24/7 is screaming for ban.

With the new paragon levels, it makes being banned even worse.

24/7 here since release 2/2 no bans. Havent cared to invest in more keys. Really its speculation and should not bother to be brought to the main forums. If you get ban'd sorry it sucks, fill out a ban report i nthe ban section, people worried can look their.

There's a seperate forum for these kinds of posts brah :)

Generally I'm not keen on the folks above me policing where it's not their job. But in this instance they're 100% right. Should've read before you posted. I just spent a whopping 5 minutes skimming the ban forum and they all admitted to 24/7 botting. This is in no way indicative of anlything. 24/7 = ban, regardless of what you're doing.

Banned 4/4 a few minutes ago. Champ farming probably 18 hours a day, one was only 2 days old. All at exact same time.

Running 24/7 for 45 days or so w/o any problem....

The thing is really simple, what blizz does is called sniffing... they check each package and compare... after a small filter they check the char log by hand, so ur scrub anyway if hit that filter... will be matter of time till they hand check...alot of people here running more then one stance, at last is smart enough to poof their mac, use a private dns or a server connection(20-50links with dynamic ip's up).

There's no thing as "take large break" too look as human... if u don't take small breaks between each run (10-30mins) u will still hit their filter... Alot of people here on forum running since start 10-20bots nearly 24/7 w/o being banned... So its just a matter of knowledge.

I have always gone 24/7. Go hard or go home. A bot sitting doing nothing is not earning any money.

I expect to get banned either way, Id rather get banned after a month of 24/7 than a month of 12/7.

I think that's what I'm going to do next. I'll probably take some measures to prevent my bots being obviously tied together, but f*** it, might as well go hardcore. Gonna buy a key tonight and set it to work.

Now you're talking! ;)

like some others ive been lucky with champ farming, 24/7 botting and one of them has been going over 1+ month, haven't stopped him. the other about 2 weeks.

@ChuckyEgg - Are you just trying to rack up your posts, or what? Do really have the need to post so many useless comments? ;)

@OP - I haven't seen anything consistent, with bans, other than they are mostly reported to be EU. There are so many ban reports, that are variable, it's hard to know what type of system they are using to ban. It's still all speculation, at this point; and probably always will be.
