I just updated to 5.0.4, but now my client is on x64 bit, what do I do?

My WoW client switched from x86 to x64 so now I can't use Honorbuddy even when it comes back.

Click OPTIONS then GAME PREFRENCES, then Change the GRAPHICS API to Direct X9 and Check the 32Bit box. remember you HAVE to do it from the launcher.

Why not HB support 64bit on next release?

Because it's not worth the effort.
This is what I fail to understand. I get better performance using 64bit WoW, same as using DX11 vs DX9. Running wow in 32 bit with DX9 is about a 20% fps loss for me vs wow 64 bit DX11. How can people say that it is not worth the effort, or it doesn't matter? Have the people saying this even tried the alternative?

The bot has done well this long working on 32-bit and DX9, whats wrong with a small loss in performance, the bot doesn't know the difference...

Its like saying that Windows x64bit is not worth it....So.... 64bit is better for CPU performance it utilizes your cpu to help and make things smoother.

So... If you cant live without 64-bit performance, maybe you should start doing everything by hand.

Well it absolutely matters when you are using it for raiding, since raids are already computer taxing. I raid in a 25 man guild, and use a laptop. During some fights I need to turn all my settings down to the minimum, where if I was able to use the best options, I wouldn't need to, and could potentially see more spell detail, ground aoe, have higher fps if I decided to stay in low settings, and in turn increase dps due to low fps. Higher performance is always better. For this reason I have stopped using HB for raiding, and have started using PQR because I CAN use it with DX11, and it DOES make a difference with all the shit going on in raids.

Sure it makes a difference but maintaining 4+ Versions of HB would easily double the wait time for new patches.
If X Changes in the 32bit client doesnt mean X changes for the 64bit client too, it's certainly Y that changed which will take more manpower.

PQR can do, the 4 or 5 Offsets they are using arent worth the hassle.

I POSTED AFTER THE CLOSE, FREAKIN EPIC!

Umm when your raiding just switch it to 64 bit, I mean if your using the bot to raid whats the point of playing, go out and play Real Life, its a great game.

tbboltz, do u want a bot in 1 week, or do you want a bot in 2-4 weeks, the more on their plate, the longer it will take.
if you dont like the specs the bot runs on, you could try to play the game for real. lets just wait till the bot gets online, then you can make a petition and see if anyone wants to do that.

I'm just glad the bot can run on Windows 7 and Windows 8 x64 at all. DX11 would be nice though, I notice the performance loss too in raids. My rig can barely do 30fps with Lazyraider (Core i5-2500K, 16GB and AMD 6870).

I wasn't stating that I was expecting them to actually support it in the next week. I was just simply stating that it would be great if it would since there are obviously advantages of it, and check around, tons of people use HB to raid. If it wasn't for PQR and HB, I wouldn't even play WoW anymore.
