Great business model, "they bought the bot, so who gives a shit, let them complain, I got their money. Also, most other popular bots got taken down, so they are forced to use mine, and if they complain, I can just say, "WHY DONT YOU USE ANOTHER BOT!!??? WAIT, YOU CANT!"

In other words, they pretty much have a monopoly on bots(unless you can actually make one yourself), and then if anyone complains, db nuthuggers will use that as a trump card;"WHY DONT YOU USE ANOTHER BOT?" knowing that the other good bots have been taken down.

And i hope you are not using any of ciggarcs profiles or plugins because ginger is a part of ciggarc, so if you have used some of them. Chances you have been running his work are pretty good.

I know that some of you think that DB isnt doing enough, but you have to remember. This bot is better then pretty much all the other bots. It doesnt got explore area atm. But even without, the other bots cant run WW barbs or CM wizards... There is so much you can do with a open API.

Though it's like any other product - if you payed for something, and you don't feel like it's up to standards, you complain. That's how it works. And honestly, I'm glad you think this bot is good, and it's easy to work with. Cos I wouldn't know how to make a profile, if a dummies guide hit me right in the face.

But you gotta admit, the support could be a whole lot more vocal here. Most of the support and improvements are done by members.

And easy way to keep people calm, would simply be either hiring or promoting some prominent Devs like you and Giles to moderators or Devs. You are already doing it for free, I'm sure you'd do the same work, just with another title, and maybe for a few buck or an extra key. The community would have vocal people, better support and people wouldn't be worried as much.

Actually Ive done this before, I bought some protiens,like a big bunch (15kg). They all tasted like shit and I sent an email to the company selling it, i curse and called them all the worst shit in the world. What did I get in response? A really calm and professional letter apologizing and offering me my money back + a new bunch of proteins for the same amount. No the proteins that I got werent bad in any way, I just did not like the taste.

So I think there is a difference in costumer relations in places in the world.

Scissors has a point - there's a lot of brownnosing going on, where people are telling complains they can't complain, or go somewhere else. The bot has flaws, and the support is sluggish, people should stop ignoring it. There is improvements to be made, both to the bot and to the support.

Though I agree with you, this is not the way to complain - but I think we agreed on that about seven pages ago.

The buddy team are a relatively small company. The majority of their subscribers are WoW subscribers. They have finite resources. It's basic good business sense to direct your companies resources to where they can most benefit the company.

If you don't like DB of course you have every right to complain about it. Your ultimate recourse is to request a refund. (there's this little thing called consumers rights they have to follow whereby you are entitled to a refund if what they sold you isn't fit for purpose, same as every other customer buying any other product)

If you bought a computer that kept breaking down - you'd get your money back and buy a computer from a competitor.

I am saying that:

i) they are really, really busy right now
ii) they are going to fix the problems DB has
iii) if you don't like DB just stop using it and go bot with something else, it's a free market

I just get sick of all these leechers, what knew what DB was when the bought the product. It clearly states when you buy the bot that its community driven...
I get that people think the bot is flawed when its crashing all the time. But this small patch to the bot that came now, did actually fix the bot.
The OP is about a guy whos mad about that there is no A3 profiles, which there is and i dont see why i should even keep doing profiles or plugins TO OTHERS.
Trying to improve the security of the bot and so on.
If people can see the bot for what it is, why even open either mouths.
