Update: 9/27/10 - Updated for Honorbuddy 1.9.6.3+

Mr.Autofight is a plugin that only allows wow to execute the CC's Combat() portion, this is for people who want to control thier toon while doing quests or what not, but dont want to button mash.
to use this plug in put in the plugins folder and enable, click start. from here youll be able to move around and do anything you want inside of wow, with the bot waiting for you to get into Combat, IE after you pull a mob or Agro one. the Plugin will let Honorbuddy take control, and do the combat for you, This includes ANY kind of MOVEMENT that the CC might have programmed into it.

NEW! - Mr.Autofight will now Automatically buff and deal with resting As per the CustomClass.

Would this work with healbotting as well ? So you can help dps and heal as well.
Also...would it hold lock even if the aggro shifts to another in your party ?
Then it would open up the possibility to be a support dps'er...nice for mages/warlocks and so on.

as soon as the you get tossed into combat, so IE everything. if your in a raid, and the tank pulls youll get tossed into combat, and the plugin would allow honorbuddy to run. so this would be fine say if you wanted to hand multi-box and you had keyclone setup with eat, drink, follow, stop follow keys and didnt want to do anything else.
 
Problem is, that HB will disengage the current target if you lose aggro...
That way you can't help dps...Any way you could write a plugin to change this ?

BTW i was using an empty profile to do the same thing your pluging was doing...but it was quite buggy...you got another fan for this plugin.
 
the profile, only stops honorbuddy from moving, IE from hotspot to Hotspot, not Stoping the CC and other fuctions from running, so really unless the CC somewhere in Combat(), has code to check for a Tagged Mob, or agro, it shouldnt be an issue.
 
Nice, going to give this a try in some dungeons, follow the tank around and see how it goes.

It doesn't seem to be a cc thing, since it happens with all toons i've tried it with. Support dps doesn't seem to be supported right now.
That is why i was asking if you could look into this.
 
This could really be effective if cc's were developed or modified for this.
As in, a perfect boss rotation, a perfect aoe rotation, or a healing cc.

well, project E, in Frost or Arcane Spec, will do perfect Raid style Rotations. not sure about other CC's though.
 
I will take this through a few heroics later today and see how it goes :)
Maybe a suggestion would be to have a "oh fuck" keybind or something when the bot goes bonkers.
 
I dunno if im just missing something but every time i load this and press start i get an Honorbuddy crash :S

It works fine for me in the world and BGs, but I tried to run Dire Maul and HB crashed because there wasn't a mesh. Maybe that's what happened to you. :P

What should I do for instance meshes so I can try again?

theres nothing i can do about it.
 
So, it won't work in instances because HB2 requires a mesh?
 
HB doesn't require a mesh to load. Load any HB profile and it will work.
 
I love this plug in. I havent tried it but its like a combat assist for those that want to manually quest or pvp.
 
This really does sound awesome :D. I will try to test it as a support DPS later.
