Hey

Approx. how much can you earn by playing by hand? Anyone has some numbers to share?

troll thread? lol

how can "earn" and "play by hand" be used in the same sentence on this forum?

funny thing is there was a post on d3 forums I think about a guy who made 10k$ not to long back, so I would assume "earn" and "play by hand" can be used as legit players are capable of making money as well?

thats roughly 4.70$ per hour if you did a 3 month basis. Thats 10,000/90 (90 days)/24(24 hours) = 4.6296296296~....

thats considering that guy had played 24/7 or worked the ah 24/7 every single one of those days for 90 days straight, which is highly unlikely.

if it was to be 10 hours a day, thats roughly 11.11$/hr

My guess is his question was regarding to gold per played hours. Not everyone's native language is english I'm guessing. Personally My native language is french. Seeing this from my innocent point of view, "earn" is not only related to real $$, in my non-english head, it mean's something like making any kind of profit regardless of currency.

Diablo3 currency being gold I would guess he is asking for "how much gold an hour" we are making by "playing by hand".

My GF does play by hand. She get an average geared barb and she was making 100-150k/hour prior to selling any good loots found on AH so something like 125k/hour + AH sales. Her gear being average, her MF//GF is terribly low too.

Personally when I play by hand on my DH, average gear and MF/GF too, I'm making something more around 200k/h prior to AH as I'm clearing way quicker and I'm using reverse waypoint runs like Radonic Act1 Champion Hunting instead of quests, makes the runs way quicker.

I hope this helps!

I havent been botting for a month now - but isnt that really low gph? Remember doing 500k/h with botting

I'm not speaking of speed-run botting, speaking of manually farmed act full runs with no GF/MF.

That's on a D3 forum but not this one :)

Based on your post above, its not worth it to play manually to make $$.

We can bot for half that time and do something else that would yield higher income. botting for most of us, would be a side gig.

$ per hour playing manually... hmmm

Does manually grinding a real job count? Where the real money is? While letting the bot do the grunt work in Diablo all day?

That type of playing manually?

My stay at home wife was doing 50-100 a day just buying/selling on AH at one point. If that counts.

Can I hire your wire to sell all my gear.

The people making lots of $$ manually are just playing the market. They don't farm.

#sarcasm eh, i dont mean literally if you understand me Mr. French. if you manually grind for gold or cash, you wont be making nearly as much $$ as you would with a bot because while the bot is grinding, you can be doing something else to earn money. Take for example me. Im literally writing this in my office at my job while my bots doing their thing at home. ya dig?

And bots can do it X times faster with Y amounts of instances.

The rmah doesn't give all the info, you still need a brain. Bots have a hard time, and there are severe limits to how many actions you can do (if you spam, you get dced). Currently, there aren't any market bots i know of. How does a bot know if an item is underpriced, if a certain stat will be looked after in a coming patch, and so on ?

Be that as it may, those issues you speak of can be added in or fixed for a bot intime. But if you were to do it manually, you're still stuck on the computer filtering for x amount of time.

All im saying is that manual play for gold or cash, isnt worth the time spent. sure you can still make a good amount of money but do you want to be stuck on the PC for X hours a day? Some people prefer to have a life vs grinding all day. And while I am enjoying mine, i know that back home, my bot buddies are doing what they are coded to do. I dont see how anyone could say otherwise, especially on a botting forum lol.

Don't talk per hypothesis on stuff you aren't sure about. Did you write a market bot or do you know of a working market bot ? Does it work ? I doubt it, pls provide proof in case.

On my main, which i play by hand, i have been making quite a lot of cash farming act 3. So far since this patches release, i've made almost $500, since this patch came out. Most Likely will drop as soon as gold prices drop though.

tunnel vision dude, your missing the point. and to answer your questions, no, no, hence no proof.
