[Discussion] Belphegor Monks Slow & Stuck

I started running Radonic's act 1 farming routine on my monk and I noticed a few things about Belphegor's monk behavior.

1. Slow. Slow slow slow slow. I have an APS of 1.9, and I sit inside a large group of normal mobs attacking once every 2 seconds or so. For a LoH build this is deadly.

2. Desecrator/plagued/arcane/molten: my monk refuses to walk into these things, and in confined spaces (especially inside the caves in festering woods and leoric's manor). I could easily just tank them if I kept attacking.

3. Inside the festering woods, crypt of the ancients, did not attack monsters surrounding it down the stairs. Not sure why.



(ALSO, things I notice about the act1 farming script here http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...ct-1/62658-a1-inferno-champion-hunting.html):

1. Weeping hollow: will not enter. ever. Walks up to door and misclicks.

3. Inside the festering woods, Crypt of the ancients, it went down the stairs and got stuck there. Would not attack and would not move.


So far the bot has not completed a single part of the 5-piece script without getting stuck/quitting, using only the plugins suggested by script maker and default/suggested values.

Some of this could be because of the monster priority changer, so I will try without it.

Back in a bit to report more.

Okay, it is MUCH FASTER without monster priority changer. This is good news.

However still avoids going near monsters when plagued/arcane etc. I find it to be quite annoying for a tank/loh build. At 35kdps, speed in a1 shouldn't be an issue.

Currently the bot is sitting outside a giant pool of poison (2 minutes now) waiting to attack a rare mob (only thing left in the area) with 1 hit left on it. *sigh*

Will keep editing this post with stuck spots/activity that might need fixing (yes, I know the first part will not be relevant to combat routines).


Spots to get stuck act 1 farming:

weeping hollow entrance (does not click to enter zone). So far 5/5 times not entering.

Weeping hollow -- holes in ground at northeast corner. Particularly that with the shape of a sideways T, (rotated 90 degrees to the left.)


Combat activity:

FROZEN mobs -- Runs outside of frozen areas to be safe, but if serenity is on the action bar it should try to use that. Serenity > frozen.

Just died to a rare pack and blue pack at the same time (though I could have handled it), again, because of trying to run from arcane/frozen when surrounded by mobs. Also had BoH and BF off cooldown when I died, so I COULD have easily defeated them if it wasn't running and was trying to heal with a skill/pot or cc.

While it does avoid frozen/plagued/other PoS attacks, it does not avoid those awful deadly spores from trees in the highlands/leoric's hunting grounds.

2: you can turn off what you don't want to avoid in the settings window
